i tried to do sw alone but i wasnt eating enough superfree so actually put on 4 lbs in a week, :sigh:. i am keeping a food diary anyway so thought this would be a good idea and hopefully it will keep me honest. i'm still trying to figure out whats free and how much. heres what i had yesterday.

breakfast
2 asda wheat biscuits (HeB)
skimmed milk (HeA)
tea with sweetener and milk

lunch
salad with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, 60g feta cheese and balsamic vinegar. i didnt realise i should have had 50g instead . i was still hungry so had more tea with sweetener and milk and 2 alpen light bars. 14.5 syns already!!

dinner
tesco mini tikka chicken fillets 0.5 syns with salad of carrots, lettuce and tomatoes. tesco light honey and mustard, 2 syns. blueberries and strawberries. 2.5 syns

black tea with sweetener. then more tikka chicken as a snack. 0.5 syns.

17.5 syns altogether. so i'm going to only have 12.5 syns today. i stuck to it fully yesterday, even when i was tempted to have semi-skimmed milk as i forgot to take what milk i had left over from breakfast into work.

Hey Hun!

No wonder you're hungry! Are you doing Extra Easy? Coz if you are you can totally pad out those salads with some cous cous or pasta or rice, that will help the hunger. I find I plan my meals around what I know will fill me up then add 1/3 super free at the end. SW chips are great, potatoes in general help me to stop feeling hungry. It's great how much superfree you're eating but you can definitely fit more free foods in it too.
Good luck chick

Xx

see carbs scare me. if i have them i bloat and put on very quickly. i did have some pasta and sauce for dinner this week and felt ok. i'll update my diary with what i've been doing. trying to stay away from the scales until wednesday weigh in

Hi, i started back at SW on thursday so thought i would say hi! When i tried SW for a few weeks back in january i was scared to eat too much and felt quite ill most days, light headed and dizzy. I only lost 0.5lbs in my first week and felt so disheartened but i think now i hadn't eaten enough and my body ha been storing fat. At the begining of my second week i felt so ill i said to my partner that i was going to lie down, i then counted out the calories for what i had eaten that day and i had only had 900 calories (not enough for a skinny person!! and i am 25 stones). So what i am trying to say is, don't be scared to eat and like previous poster Law says eat some rice, pasta etc. I hope i don't sound cheeky. x

i'm thinking i might save the carbs for lunch so i dont feel like i'm going to bed with a full stomach. i dont feel like i'm on a diet but rather i'm eating healthier which is always good.

You'll figure out what works for you, it is a bit of trial and error in terms of bloating and stuff. I tend to have carbs at every meal (bran flakes for breakfast, whole wheat pasta with salad and chicken for lunch and something with rice/potatoes/noodles for tea) and have lost every week that I've stuck to plan. The 2 weeks I haven't lost were due to wine, take aways and a gym boycott!
Try to pad out your meals a bit, feeling hungry isn't sustainable chick and filling up on free and superfree at meals helps me stay full.
Good luck!!
Xx
