Hi all... hope this is OK to post here (Mods pls delete if not)
Well... for all those that have told me to take a running jump over the years here's your chance to see it to happen
On April 26th I will be jumping out of a perfectly serviceable airplane at 10'000 feet above the Lake District to raise money for KIDS Charity.
KIDS is a charity specialising in helping children with Special Needs & Disabilities develop their skills and abilities and to fulfil their potential, hopes and aspirations as well as providing support for their families (website KIDS - The Disabled childrens charity KIDS Home ).
Ironically if the 'chute fails to open I may end up in a wheelchair myself... that'll learn me !
As this is something I've always wanted to do anyway I'll be lobbing in 130 quid to match the 70 quid entry fee I've paid so far which effectively pays for the jump itself & the rest goes to KIDS.
