Jo, great diary - just discovered it!

Quick question, how do you know when you are in ketosis? Can you tell the difference? <nosy>

oooh yes I can... my mood improves tremendously for a start (do I hear cheering?!!), and I become mega hyper active! I sleep less, bounce around like a lunatic, and am very happy with life in general, and don't have problems with binge eating... (is it a wonder I crave a return!!)?!

i feel ok at the moment, do miss the lack of tiredness though!

I'm quite happy today (fortunately...) but I rue the loss of ketosis whenever I get hungry (which is far too often!!)

Maintainer, do you not want to go back into ketosis then? Is it because it would mean going back on Attack to achieve it? Although, I can see you are nearly at goal anyway.

Hello there RH - no I'm fighting hard (with myself) not to jump back onto the Dukan wagon cos I've been on and off it too many times which isn't good (for my body or mind!).

I need to learn to live with hunger, as normal people do... (at least that's the theory... I'll crack at some point and jump gleefully back on the ketosis wagon where it's all so easy again )

yes... I think about food EVEN MORE when not in ketosis. OK I'm having a far quieter week at work, which doesn't help cos I'm thinking about food all the time!!

right now just thinking about food... later on, I'll be hungry waiting for my tea! I've a sugar free jelly for 5pm!

Ha ha do you not find when you have had a week of eating less food you dont get as hungry?

I tend to eat quite a bit when on Dukan... when in ketosis, I don't get as hungry... at the moment, I'm a bit too food focused for my own good! Although it's nice to have some quiet time at work again, it's not good for my food psyche!

No to the dogs im afraid, well not all four and not persuaded him yet.
venue booked, seeing photographer tomorrow night, wedding dress shopping starts on saturday am (best not have too much pizza on friday night). have not decided on any style yet im going to try everything on and see so you will know how it goes if my goal changes to 9 and half stone on monday
Think colour scheme is sage green and orange, but i love turquiose LOL. got 2 bridesmaids to clothe too

Isn't it amazing to think how quickly things have changed for you. It's so brilliant!!
