If I eat it, I'll snap it <3 SW Postpartum

Good Luck WI.
It is strange that our body gets used to WI day & shows the right weight. On any other day, it shows either too much or too little.👍
Thank you! 2 lb loss gets me my half stone! That has inspired me to keep going.
:sw007:

B - Mushrooms, bacon and 2 "fried" eggs, using fry light little bit rubbery but lovely all the same.
L - Chicken salad, Lettuce, radishes, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions, bell pepper and a dressing of blue cheese HeA mixed with quark to make it go further. Yum
D - My "treat meal" - microwave fries, fish fingers and 2 fresh bake rolls mmmmmm

@Ravenous I think I will need to back track a little on some of the commitments I've made in terms of fat and sugar replacement. I fundamentally disagree with artificial sweenter, I grew up on a beet farm! But I'm supplementing to help out the come down.

I'd like to get it to a sustainable point, rather than just giving up like I did last time as I firmly believe that I need to learn to moderate, not cut out in order to be sustainable. It's a really good idea to just use a little of what makes things worth eating :D Thanks!

B - Pickled egg and a large seafood stick
L - Mediterranean tuna salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, radish etc. And a simple dressing 1/2 syn. Hummus and crudités of pepper and carrot. Berries and quark.
D - Chicken, roast with skin on and SW chips I indulged in some mayo and sweet chilli too 😁
S - Oreo egg (8)

@Miss Scarlett Blue It was DELICIOUS and I regret NOTHING lol 🤣
Well, it was definately Easter Sunday! Thanks for checking in @craftermary @Ravenous I had a little slide sideways for a couple of days. What with the lamb on Sunday (I was convinced, and still am really that lamb can't be on plan). Man, it was delicious! I stuck to plan Monday Breakfast and Lunch but I knew the lamb curry was on the cards Monday evening so I had kind of pre-given up ahead of eating that. I also had a few snacks on Sunday evening, and last night if I am honest with myself. But you know what? I felt crappy. I have been on it all day today and I feel motivated. I think if I get my walk at 6am, it sets me up right for the day.

Doing SP (I think - would welcome pointers) today to try and catch up again.

B - Fruit bowl of Satsuma, melon, kiwi and apple and HeB, fruit wheats with milk from HeA.

L - Salad with radish, lettuce, spring onion, pepper and tomato with a lovely peice of cod, freshly baked (Salad dressing 1 syn)

D - Spagheti bolognase with my other HeA 50g Parmesan

S - ham

There will be some snacking tonight but I'll keep it clean, it feels better!
Also, it was shopping day today so I leaned hard on the excuse that there was nothing here to eat. Lies. The house has everything that I need.

Your food looks fab.

We all have bad days. I had an Easter egg filled with ice cream but have been good with my food, however, it seems I have put on a couple of pounds. Well I will find out what the damage is tomorrow.
I noticed that I cannot eat too much as my stomach starts hurting so I am having much smaller portions.
Hope you managed to do your early morning walk.

Your food looks really good. Don’t feel bad for having occasional treats - when you are doing something which is going to be long term, occasional treats are bound to happen and I would almost say necessary. Mindset is the most important thing - you’ve had treats, don’t feel guilty, but want to get straight back on it. That is definitely the way to be and will lead to success.
I agree about lamb. It tasted too good to be allowed, but as long as visible fat is removed it is allowed. I don’t have it very often, due to expense as much as anything, so when I do I really see it as a treat. I had roast lamb on Sunday and it was beautiful. I froze some for next Sunday and had some leftovers on Monday as fried rice. It is good to have some variety and especially when a free food seems too good to be free.
Good luck this week and with SP. I’ve never done an SP day

@Ravenous Oh my! An Easter egg filled with ice cream sounds divine! It's great that you have managed to get those portion sizes down. I too am working on that! I did get out this morning. We enjoyed a lovely walk up the hill and met a friend by accident but we enjoyed a socially distanced walk back down the hill and had a little catch up.

@Miss Scarlett Blue that is both very kind and very true. I am still trying to find a way of expressing my temporary failure/relapse/slip ups etc. that I am comfortable with and doesn't make me feel like all is lost so I can just binge to my heart's content! Ohh that lamb fried rice sounds awesome! Do you have a recipe? I got 6kg of pork for £6 and I'm looking at ways of using it effectively that aren't all a roast!

B - Fat free Greek yoghurt flavoured with vanilla essence and I popped half a punnet of raspberries on there too. Then I had an apple.
L- Peppered mackerel and salad. I did feel like I needed carbs today so I grabbed a bag of those curls (5 syns) but only had half - 3/4 because my son stole the rest. I didn't put up a fight, I was really quite full. I did put pineapple for afters but only had one piece.
D - Jacket potato with a tsp lighter Lurpak (1 1/2 syns) and HeA cheese (grated on the tiny side - makes it look like loads). Salad of mixed leaves, rocket, tomato, Bell pepper and spring onions. No dressing. A generous helping of ham!
Edited to remove cornflake nest. Had pineapple instead.

B - Cup of tea (1/2 syn), 3x Ryvita, vine cherry tomatoes, scrambled egg and mushrooms and bacon. HeA 3x Babybel light. The Ryvita is 3 years out of date. It went in the bin, not me.
L - Satsuma and my HeB 71g Apricots
D - Slow cooked pulled pork (2 syns for honey) and cauliflower rice with steamed carrots, pak choi, spring greens and Bell pepper topped with a spring onion! Yum!
Never tried cauliflower rice before, it was nice but I do wonder if it'll keep me full later. We'll see.
S - Cup of tea (1/2 syn)

Total Syns - 3

Still searching for food and playing board games with family tonight so would usually have snacks... hmmmm I do have 1 more HeA, free food and 12 syns....

Nice day off Friday, I'm just having one day off this week. I know when my mindset is right (effective) I think "Why should you have a day off losing your fat ass when you didn't give your body a day off creating it?!" It seems brutal but it's the minset that makes changes for me.
My memory is really bad and I don't remember getting down to 14st 4lb in 2014. I have 1 picture where I think I look nice but I had no idea it was because I had lost so much weight. Bit of a revelation TBH.
I might just start paying for SW. I would probably have started back at group if COVID-19 wasn't a thing. I miss normailty.

Have a great Saturday everyone! I'm making a picnic to take on my dog walk. Need to get out, it's been 4 weeks now.

I agree to have a day off plan as it gives the body a break from what is used to the whole week & encourages it to burn the food faster. Mind you having a day off doesn't mean to eat everything in sight.
I fancy cooking a roast chicken today - I don't like the skin (never have). It has been raining and continuing all day so making me lazy to go out for a walk but I need to as my elderly neighbour needs some shopping done.
Try continuing by yourself & using support here if you can. I don't like to be disciplined by others as I know I rebel against it soon or later. That is the reason I did it my own way & in 2 years I have lost nearly 5 stone and over the moon about it. It is just a matter of mindset and accepting a new way of eating. As I said before from time to time, I need to eat a little of what I fancy or I will be craving it and likely to eat everything in sight.
Have a wonderful picnic & I am sure you food looks lovely.

I wouldn't pay for SW yet until groups are back again.

Enjoy your walk.It is cold and wet here in Somerset. Heating has just been put back on.
