I'm not going to bang on about what I've eaten but I feel guilty having food despite sticking to plan! I made some sf jelly earlier and licked the fork. I got that little panicky feeling then realised that it was OK!
 
Its bound to b like that Lisa. I remember doing slimming world years ago and i lost 10lbs first week and 2-3 each week afterwards.....was crazy to think i was losing that and eating loads....i mean to the point of stuffing myself lol. Diets like that never work for me over a long period of time tho. But i get what u mean. Also being on VLCD and then being "allowed" to eat must feel strange!

I felt a bit like Nikki from Big Brother yesterday. Standing in the kitchen complaining 'it's too hard, it's too complicated' lol. I'm sure after a week or so of putting meals together it'll get easier!
Got a great app for my ipod yesterday that counts the carbs but I think it'll be harder when I'm at work tomorrow. I'll have to spend some of today planning what I can prepare and take with me.

Which app is it? I've got my fitness pal which seems quite good and even recognises wii exercises!
 
It's called carb master. The icon even tells you your total so far! I need to fill it in as I go along and make sure I weigh things rather than guess.
Did a bit better today, only 7g so hopefully I'm getting my head around it.

Yes its 20 on induction. Not sure how well I'll do, as a scale-aholic I weighed first thing on day 2 and had gained 2.5lbs! But day 3 shows 1.5lb of that off. I'm going to try really hard not to weigh until the end of the first week.
I keep finding myself popping back here as I miss you all :) x
 
I started out on Atkins and just wanted to say that you really should be getting more carbs from veg. Mind you I know Jim on the Atkins forum will make sure you know that anyway, lol.

All the best with your changeover, I suspect that being you whatever eating plan you use to take you to maintenance you will make a success of it. :)
 
Hope your Atkins journey is going well so far! Just checking in to say hi and wish you well. I did Atkins a few years ago, well, best part of ten years ago now I guess (yikes, time flies!), and lost three stone. Can't fault it. Eating food can feel weird, but we've all got to get used to it again eventually :)
