Hi all, thought I'd start a food diary so I can keep a track of what I'm eating, and come back when I run out of meal ideas!!! I'm doing sw from home as I have 2 young children so getting to groups can be hard, and let's be honest, I'd rather spend the money on other things. So far, I've been following the plan for 12 days, and in week 1 I lost 3lb. I have about a stone to loose!

So today I've had:

B- 2 x wholemeal toast (hex b) with jam (1.5 syns) and marg (2 syns)

L- kabuto noodle pot (free) with 1 pear and 1 peach, followed by tea and 2 x rich tea (4 syns)

D - roasted veg and pesto penne (from latest magazine) - free, using paemasan in the pesto as my hex A.

Snack - I'll prob have a Muller light tonight

Syn total = 7.5
Hex A = √
Hex B = √

Please feel free to give me any feedback / pick me up on my errors!

Well today has been a bit of a shambles as I've caught my son's stomach bug :-( It has pretty much gone like this:

B - handful dry cheerios
L - banana on wholemeal toast, peach (felt a bit better and managed my super free!)
S - 2x Roch tea and a cup of tea
D - not yet had anything but might have a slice of toast later?

Syns = around 10 but not really been bothered to count!
Hex A = x not fancying dairy
Hex B = √
 
Feeling better today and back on plan!

B- ff yogurt with banana, mango and pineapple

L - cheese (hex a) sandwich (hex b) with salad, followed by a Muller light

D - braised beef stew with parsnip mash, a Yorkshire pudding and served with peas and carrots. This was YUMMY! From this month is sw magazine! 4.5 syns for yorkshire.

Treat tonight - creme egg - bought this Saturday and have managed to save it til now! Worth all 9 syns!

Syns = 13.5
Hex A = √
Hex B = √

And today was weigh in day...stayed the same, which I can really complain about after a bad weekend and being poorly!
 
Looks good and pleased you're feeling better.

Now...important stuff...does the creme egg taste any different?!
 
Haha...that's exactly what my husband asked! I have to say no, I didn't notice any difference whatsoever!

Bit late, but yesterday's diary....

B - 2 x fried eggs (frylight), mushrooms and tomatoes

S - banana

L - jacket potato, beans and cheese (hex a), salad. Followed by cherry bakewell alpen bar.

D - chicken in white wine sauce with pasta (this month's magazine recipe). 2.5 syns

S- warm chocolate and fudge alpen light (hex b), then 2 x rich tea biscuits

Syns = 6.5
Hex A = √
Hex B = √
 
Today:

B- banana and cinnamon French toast (these were amazzzzzing!) Hex B

L - left over mushroom pasta with grated cheese (hex a), carrots and peas, followed by an options hot choc with broken up flump in it...yum! 3.5 syns

S - curse my husband....red velvet cupcake, minus the icing...say 10 syns, and it wasn't as amazing as a 10 syn treat should be :-(

D - prawn sweet n sour stir fry - 1 syn for sauce

S - Diet coke and Muller light

Syns = 14.5
Hex A = √
Hex B = √

How are you finding it? Is this the first time you've done sw?

No :-( I did it a good 8 years ago and lost all my "puppy fat" about 2 stone and kept it off for a good few years then back on and God knows why decided to do every other diet which never worked for long
 
Thought I'd subscribe seeing as you have a similar amount to loose that I did to get to target.

I had sweet cinnamon eggy bread with apple for breakfast this morning & it was so yummy :D

Yep...I'll definitely be having it again- maybe I'll have apple next time! Do you do anything with the apple?

B- jam and flora light on wm toast (hex b and 3 syns)

L - left over mushroom pasta with grated cheese on top (hex a), 2x tangerines, muller light, tea and a rich tea (2 syns) - I was REALLY hungry!

S- a couple of mouthfuls of my daughter's soft scoop ice cream- they just sort of fell into my mouth!!! Say 5 syns

D - lamb shanks with mashed potato, carrots, onions and chopped tomatoes.

S - Diet coke and a banana

Syns = 10
Hex A = √
Hex B = √

Oh, pleasant surprise, I just had a look on google /old minimins threads and a WHOLE mcflurry is around 15-16 syns, so my two or three mouthfuls probably weren't as synful as I thought! I'll still count it as 5 to be on the safe side though! Xx
