Jenny's last diet ever

day 3 of s&s today and I have discovered the yummiest shake ever, its called red fruits and tastes and smells so good. I will mainly be ordering those next time.

weighed myself today and I'm 3lbs down since yesterday so guessing this 8lbs loss is the water weight that I gained over xmas. Im still 4/5lbs up but sure that will be gone soon.

I'm really loving s&s, the variety is great. the food packs not so great but I'm fine with that. The best thing about it is that I can have vegetables, I love corn on the cob so that is my evening snack, it is yummy :)

Its my 6 yr wedding anniversary today, we'd usually go out for a meal but its only a meal, my happiness is more important, hubby understood.

So good day today, pretty sure I'm in ketosis.

day 4 and I'm still weighing myself everyday :( I will stop after first official weigh in as dont want to get too obsessed. Another 2lbs gone today which makes 10lbs since Wed. Its definitely water weight as although I did eat lots of lovely things at Christmas I didnt eat enough to gain 12lbs. Im only 2lbs from the weight I was before Christmas so not too bad. I cant wait to get into the 13s, just over 7lbs to go.

Hi Jen :) You'll be out of the obese category in no time! Is your weigh-in day still a thursday? Well done on getting back on track after christmas and staying determined! For many people, eating wonderful food over the holidays and putting on some weight would be their cue to give up and lose hope! Good luck, I'm rooting for you! xx

exercise is going well so far.

I missed my delivery of my shakes today :( might have to go and pick them up.

Wow 12lb down! That's amazing, must be a relief to know that it was all water weight and you haven't set yourself too far back.

Weigh in day today and Ive lost 13lbs, 12lbs that I gained over Christmas and an extra 1lb. really really pleased about this. only 1lb more and I'll be under 200lb. Im feeling really positive about this diet and really enjoying some of the shakes. I tried the praline bar yesterday and it was so tasty, will be ordering lots of them next time.

I woke up with really bad back pain today so will have a break from exercising.

off to meet my friend for lunch but will be taking a bar or shake with me :)

Good going! My boyfriend is thinking about stating SnS in a week or so, do you recommend? I put 10lb over christmas, I lost 6 of them and then said 'thats it I'm done with dieting forever!' but know I think I might join him? Is it TFR or are you having a meal too?

Hi Sam, thanks. yes I would recommend s&s, its great, such a large variety of shakes bars ans meals. Im not keen on the meals but love most of the bars that Ive tried and about 5/6 of the shakes. You can choose between the lifestyle plan where you have 3 s&s products per day and your own meal or the simplicity plan where you have 4 s&s products a day (5 if weight is over 17st) Im doing the 4 packs per day. You can also have 200g of salad and vegetables per day which is great. I couldnt go back to LT now as the shakes tastes horrible especially in comparison to s&S.

Had a really bad day yesterday :( I resisted eating for hours then my hubby got a indian takeaway and I gave in. I instantly felt bad, guilty, regretful etc. Straight back on it today though. Im hoping it wont be too damaging to my weight loss this week. I really need to work on my relationship with food as I eat if I'm stressed, tired, down etc. I wasnt even hungry just wanted it.

Today has been much better :)

had a stressful couple of days, my mother in law is really unwell in hospital so we've all been really worried. again my awful relationship with food has had my thinking about cheating, its so annoying, wish I could remain in control all the time. Haven't cheated again though but have hardly had any water. Its Monday morning so guess I will look at today as a fresh start and make sure I drink enough and have all 4 food packs every day.

Hope everyone is doing well with their diets x x

Have you considered switching to the Lifestyle plan? It's cheaper, there's only 3 packs instead of 4, and you can enjoy a low-carb meal which might stop you craving other things xx
PS. How do the weigh-ins for Slim & Save work, do you just weigh yourself and write it down?

I wouldn't be too disheartened by that small gain, more initiative to stay 100%!
Yes I may switch over in a few weeks so I can get to a lower goal, my pharmacist may kick me off when I get too my goal even though I've decided I'd rather weigh less anyway, whereas with slim & save I can probably keep going for as long as I like. What do you think?

3lb a week is great, especially when you are so skinny ;) body likes to hold on to any remaining fat as you get smaller.

yeah I would def go for slim and save, so much more variety and they dont decide to stop you doing it, its your choice.

Morning, so I am back on s&s 100% :) and really happy to report that I am now under 200lbs yay. 199lbs as of this morning. I never want to see that 2 again.

feeling good and positive about today, I'm working later, not been in since mid December so hopefully a few people will notice that I'm shrinking.

Hey I'm not skinny! Still overweight, just :p
I'll probably switch to slim and save after my birthday as I'm coming off LT no matter what weight I am on the 6th March so I can go out and celebrate, but then may decide to use Slim & Save to lose another stone or so. At the moment my pharmacist is still holding the price at £36 so I don't have to worry about that for now :)
Do you weigh yourself and tell them what you're at? Or do they not get involved at all? x
