Very please with hubby. He's passed the first 2 lots of steps to a new job!
He currently is a supervisor at crown paints warehouse and has been with them got 3 years... He works for them through another logistics company and crown are actually taking people on to work for them (not through the logistics company)
He applied whilst on paternity leave. He's passed the CV part, had a call and passed what they asked on the phone. Next step now is to go in for a mini test thing they tend to do.
Very excited as it's such more permanent job and way better pay too!
Things looking good as more than 50+ people from work have applied for the spaces (5jobs) and only a few who he works with have had a call back for the next step! (And we think they called in A-Z order, so means alot haven't got through the next part! Good for rob lol)

So yey I'm getting excited and really hope he gets the new job! Xx

Brilliant Jess and fingers crossed that Rob sails through the next stage<s> and gets the job, it sounds like he's in with a good chance, especially if there are five jobs available.
So glad that Jacob loves being a big brother, sometimes it can be hard for an older sibling to accept they aren't the baby in the house any more and play up a bit but sounds like you and Rob are great parents and give him plenty of attention and that means he is a confident and happy boy. No doubt a few squabbles when they get bigger but lovely that they are close together in age really, for the coming years.

We had a super day out yesterday, not so hot but just right for walking around and lots of time in the play park after the animals. My grandson was exhausted and fell asleep in the car ten mins into journey home but luckily by bedtime he was still happy to sleep.
Yes I see lots of them both. My youngest and her ten week old daughter are living here with us as her relationship didn't work out and the baby's father hasn't contacted her since a couple of weeks after birth. She's proving to be a brilliant Mum though and is actually a lot happier and totally focussed on making a good life for her and beautiful baby girl. My other daughter is close by, so we also see my grandson at least twice a week and on Thursdays he is here with me all day. I am so lucky, they are gorgeous children and we all get on really well. Hard work sometimes but worth it.

Yes we hope so! He's just informed me he's now in the last 70 people for the jobs. Still a lot but I think there was 100+ who applied!

Aww that's good, yes jacob usually falls asleep after busy days out. Only just leaving and their snoring lol.
Oh good, bet it's lovely seeing them all the time.
My mum lives up the street from us, about 20min walk so nice seeing her when possible.

Haha I'm positive about that!

I've got my weeks worth of main meals planned out and then I can work around that for what plan I do that day.. the key to keeping on track for me
Fakeaways usually on weekends too to help with wanting real thing.

I think tomorrow is mushy pea curry. Not done it for a long time...

Currently up on night feed, hoping Connor goes to sleep easily. He's been so badly with this awful cold still! And sticky eye yet again. He had that for practically since he day after he were born minus a few days when it went before. And cold been a week.. it does make him sound adorable though with his little snorting sounds! Xx

Thank. No he's not too good went to emergency doctors about his eye again and it's infected so got some drops I have to give for 48hrs then go see my normal GP. Given his first dose and I cried with him. So awful when your babies are in pain!!.

Thanks hun. It's so awful when my babies are poorly!
He's had a cold almost 2 weeks too but Dr said as body trying to fight infection, it cant cope fighting cold too.. fingers crossed get improvement soon...

Food wise today was good until tea... As we were at emergency docs after been out for the day we got one of them cheap Tesco meals for £6. (Pizza & garlic dough balls!) Oops...

On a brighter note we went and booked a holiday abroad for next year!!!! :-D :-D

Not surprised you had a quick pizza meal, it was just one meal though, back to it today.

Thanks guys. Well as I posted that earlier I ended up with Jacob coming into my bed! He seemed really unsettled and s nasty cough, so ended up with no more sleep.. starting to feel very tired now though. So I hope jacob wants a nap soon!!

Yeah it was only one meal so I'm hoping it doesnt affect me too badly. For some reason I feel guilty like I've had a bad week, but I haven't!! Lol.

Were going to*Lanzarote...Playa Blanca. Were going in May so month before Jacob turns 4 and Connor 1 so thought be best with more than just a pooland it's got a dino waterpark attatched to the hotel



I'm aiming to be at my final target by then!!! Not sure what it will be yet. Want to get to my first target of 6st loss xx

Wish he could, but he's at work! will be home at 3pm though so il be going to bed whilst he watches the boys. (Still seems saying boys! Lol)

Well went out for a walk with jacob on one of our usual routes... thought I'd track it with one of them track my walk apps just to see what we actually walk and i didn't realize its 1.1mile!! Now I know why jacob gets abit slow walking home lol
