It all goes on fur length with kitties.

Short hair kittens 5-8 days

Long haired kittens 10-14

Strange that eye opening goes on fur length isn't it?? But true!!

Hi Jo, how odd. They are short hair and over a week old already, so maybe in the next couple of days then love.

I'm fed up with this endless rain, we need some summer.

Morning all, morning Di and bren.

I'm so pissed off with this rain. i was going to go to Edgbaston to watch the cricket today, but I'm damned if I'm going to pay £20 to sit in the rain, especially if the game is rained off. I'll stick to the comforts of Sky TV i think.

The kittens eyes are open, I'll see if i can get a pic when they next wake up.

Morning Jim!!!! They were right then with eye opening bless their kitten cotton socks!! Apparently still blind though for a few more days until they learn to focus....

I'm pissed off with the damn rain too, it makes my job a nightmare not mentioning the sodden uniform I have to walk around in!!

Right decision to stay in Jim yuck to the rain. It's torrential here and roads are flooded, thunder etc.

Can't wait to see the kitties with their eyes open.

Morning all, nice day here yesterday, I spent most of the day attacking the jungle that is the FIL's garden, thank god I did as it's peeing down again this morning.

Here's a kitten update, you can see one has it's eyes open

Incidentally, every time we move the kittens to a nice warm cat bed, the cat drags them out back to the corner under the coffee table

Awwwwwww bless them, they are very, very cute!!!! Have you tried putting the cat bed in the corner she's taking them too??

Yes we have Jo, she takes them behind the settee if we do. Very strange, she doesn't seem to mind me handling them though, some one told us if we touched them she'd abandon them?

well that explains that Susie, No they all have homes to go to I'm pleased to say. My mum couldn't handle that many, not with my sister having dumped two cats on her.
