Joined slimming world tonight

Ye il be happy with 2lb il be honest got to the point now that I’m just happy to be loosing every week. Each week I’m feeling better and I’m still eating what I like really. I’m goin to do curry for us tonight once Olivia is in bed haven’t seen each other all week hardly so just goin have a chilled night. Il get a loss on scales in mornin and il be happy. Still living my life , isn’t stopping me from doin things and I’m loosing so win win .

I have 15 weeks to loose stone and half and thats including a week where il gain in May. As long as I get my 3stone il be happy

That's a great way of thinking about it.
You have to live your life. And it's not like you're binge eating all the time, so you have got the mindset right now.

I think we're about the same. I think I've got about 13 weeks and if I lose my gain I've got 1 1/2 stone to lose. I've got loads of weekends away and parties etc planned so it will be hard but I know we can do it, if we stick with it :)
 
It’s not like a diet is it I just get on with it . I know if Iv had a bad meal il cut back that day and it’s fine can do as we please really it’s fab.

I haven’t really got anything planned now untill May. We was on about going chessington for the bank holiday as got the gruffalo ride and themed room but need to price it up first

When I was in America I really surprised myself the first week because in my head I was trying to work out how many calories I would think would be in a meal. Obviously I wasn't going to be right but I could work out the best option. Plus my stomach has shrunk so I couldn't eat as much as I usually do. My downfall was still alcohol but I had all light beers as they don't have as many calories. I think that's why it has been so easy for me so get back into so quickly. I bet when you go away you will be the same. It's like a lifestyle change than a diet.
 
You your stomach does shrink doesn’t it. I know before I would think nothin of goin out for a meal with mates in the day feel really stuffed and still have a plate of food at 5pm for my tea just for the sake of it really. Now if I have dinner out I don’t even have any tea and it’s basically my cals for day so I still loose weight at end of week. I think on hol aswell il just have somethin light for lunch rather than eating in pub twice a day lol . Like you say it’s just the alcohol which I will have.

I know when I’m in Tenerife il gain loads caise il just pig out lol it’s hard when all infront of you but shouldn’t be to bad for st ives

Honestly my son and FIL were moaning that I wouldn't let them eat on holiday. They wanted 3 meals a day but I said if we were having a breakfast we should have evening meal and if we skip breakfast we should have lunch and then a snack at night. I would never have been like that before, lol. I really wasn't hungry.

You might surprise yourself in Tenerife, even without thinking about it :) Obviously the same doesn't apply for alcohol, lol!!
 
Weighing results. 1 1/4 loss

😂explain this lol I had lost 1 1/2 on wed lol. May have been the choc or curry last night who knows. Never mind still pleased it’s goin in the right direction that’s all that matters. I think if I was bein 100% for 7 days then I would want a deffo 2 off a week. I Cnt moan really as still have treats basically eat what I like within reason and still get a loss every week.

I also thort maybe because I haven’t eaten much in the week. I know last time when I stuck to 1000 cals all week I lost nothin so need to make sure I’m gettin the 1300 in each day. Just don’t like the thort of eatin at 8.30 at night . Once he’s off course be better cause il eat tea at 4.30/5

Ye my aim is to try and get 1/2 a stone each month . So hopefully at 2 1/2 for end of May Iv basically got 6 weeks to loose 12 1/2 pound to be where I want to be. Then when I’m home Iv got 8 weeks to loose what Iv gained plus the final 1/2 a stone before Tenerife. I may not get there for May I may have to have some weeks without treats so I can get some bulk losses.

If I look at it overall tho Iv got 15 weeks To loose 1 stone 5 1/2 and that works out around 1 1/4 a week which I’m gettin lol. I want to be 15.9 for when away as all my clothes in wardrobe will fit me . If I have to il be super strict for a few weeks like I said
 
Yay well done lovely, it's a loss, so so close to 16s, midweek you'll see that no doubt about it! Had chocolate gone now? I'm challenging myself to have lots of jelly today, will have small mouthfuls throughout the day! Not weighed bht I can tell you, 2-3lb gain, I've been bad!

Thanks Leigh, yes all choc has now gone and I’m so glad. Bet ur scales won’t be that bad it’s never as bad as you think . Iv made jelly woke up starving so know it’s goin to be one of them days
 
Ah, maybe try and have a drink every hour or two, could be dehydrated more than hungry, here's hoping eh lol.
I haven't started on my jelly yet, so that's good eh!

Had a quick look on scales and only gained 1/4 so very happy with that.

Today’s food plan

Breakfast - cheese and crackers 165

Dinner maybe sandwhich got 521 spare

Tea chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese, potatoes, broccoli and Brussels.
