Bsically, you will all of a sudden notice you are not hungry - or thinking about how soon you can have your next pack....without stix that is how I tell.

But your LLC will have you pee-on-a-stick to confirm at your second meeting. :)

Well done on your loss this week BL. Can I ask, why do you have your ticker in metric? I assumed Americans used imperial too xx

My ticker is metric for a couple of reasons. In no particular order...

1. THey are smaller than pounds. :D
2. My LLC weighs us in KGs or Stones. Either way I would have to use math to get the pounds right.
3. I hate maths. :D So I stick with what is written down in my book and its only either kgs or pounds on the ticker.

See? There is logic in my madness, even if its blonde logic. :D

Ah! It all makes sense now! We get weighed in kgs and the assistant does the translation...much simplier :D xx
 
I actually made up a spreadsheet, so now I just put in the kg's and it does the rest for me. I just had to do the calculations once and now I love coming home after WI and updating my spreadsheet. Even have a little line chart in it. What a geek! lol

HeeHee, it is probably weightloss spreadsheet revision 4 or 5, I have them for each year I have started a diet but they last about 2 months and then the entries stop. This one is going to be the best because this one I will track all the way to goal!

5lbs loss, I was resigned to less than 3 per week, so this is fab. It was 99.9kg so under that 100kg mark also.:D

<sigh> All of a sudden, I am getting bored with this. The packs are all tasting the same - the water flavours all taste the same - I think I am at the midway slump. Something that didnt happen the first time but seems to be getting to feel that way. The last few days I have really struggled to resist temptation....whereas before it was a doddle.

I am sticking to it - but it is getting harder instead of easier.

I think it is probably all the "head work" I am doing. It's uncomfortable - and my old instilled instincts are playing havoc with my mind.

I don't like it, and wish it would stop. :(

Grrr. When I feel these kinds of feelings, I get so mad at myself for losing the plot last year...and start the old "Why did I do it" "Look what you have done - youblew it, so now youhave to pay." Stuff like that.

I just wish I could sleep till hit goal. lol That would be so much easier.

I hope these tough times pass. Its taking everything I have to stay onthe straight at the moment.

How tough- it seems everyone who does it again seems to find it so much harder the second time around - but I KNOW you can do it.

I've just been looking at your photos BL, and whilst it may be tough now, you have been through much worse, and you've come out the other side, better and stronger for it!!!
You are a shining example of how to follow the plan, and this blip ISN'T going to get the better of you.
They may all taste a bit "same-y" now, but the end goal isn't too far now. Maybe try to mix it up a bit and try new flavours?

Hope you feel better soon, in yourself, as i know it can be hard to get out of a slump, especially when your head gets involved. Have faith in yourself, and maybe paint your nails, or put on a face mask as a distraction!?

Hey BL, I think the closer you get to goal the harder it gets. The crooked thinking starts cause our minds want to keep the status quo, the familliar. Change brings up emotions that have been below the surface. But you have the tools to get your thinking straight, and I hope I will learn those tools. I'm sure you will be helping me through it in a few months time. I hope in a few days you will be through this and sailing along again.
I'm with you about waking up at goal. Being from the 'great white north' I always envy the animals that hibernate, go to sleep fat and wake up in the spring thin. Oh well I always said I could live off my fat for 6 months, and now I am!

The mind is so powerful, and sometimes so hard to do battle with.

There are so many aspects of my life I want resolved, that I get so anxious....and then realise noting wil happen NOW - and I get impatient and scared of time. Lately I have a real feeling, a strong feeling that time is against me. Have felt like that for years, but really strongly now - and that is such a debilitating feeling because you are powerless to affect time - so its a futile thing really.

Probably doesnt make alot of sense, but I understand sort of. lol

Life goes on - day at a time, and I need to try and work with that parameter rather then looking too far ahead only to accept I wont get there untill I get through the NOW.

Happy Friday anyway!! At least there is that! lo

Well, after a rather rubbish head-filled weekend, I lost 2 more ounds this week, which means I have now lost more then I have left to lose = which is cool - and I got to put a little :checkmark: on one of my goals. Nice. :)

Another great talk in group tonight. Feel morepositive today in some ways then I had been the last few days which is nice.

Its windy as heck down here!!!
