The problem with Coke Zero and all the other "diet" fizzy drinks is that they are still stuffed full of chemicals and aspartame - sweetener - the impact of which is relatively unknown but widely considered to be a carcinogen (cancer-causing). SO... if possible, really try to just stick to water or herbal teas - Utilities companies' dabblings aside, it is just plain old H2O which humans have been drinking forever, so we know its safe. Probably a good idea to only have a can of pop when everyone else is drinking alcohol. I'll be hitting the Slimline Tonic Water big time this weekend (with a squeeze of lemon I can almost taste the gin!).
