Just Recipes!

thanks bren, sounds good, another thing to try! :)

just finished eating moussaka/lasagne type thing, oh boy it was good!

I love the moussaka thingy, I fry my courgettes and aubergines in my griddle pan first before assembling, just rub them with a bit of olive oil first. Then I fry some lamb mince with a bit of spring onion and then layer it all with a mixture of eggs, yog and grated cheese with some nutmeg mixed in, and some herbs in the mince too. Salt and pepper and bob's your uncle.

aaah! i used raw courgettes, and cooked the mince with some mushrooms and made a kind of white sauce with soya milk, assembled it and sprinkled cheese on the top, sliced some tomatoes and put it in the oven for about half an hour. was certainly tasty!

Thanks Bren

Do you whisk them in a copper bowl or anything special? And what sort of beater/whisk did you use? I used my thunderstick and it made lots of lovely watery egg :(

Sx

Lady Susie your thunderstick probably won't work I got an electric whisk in Argos for about £5 and it works great perfect peaks in seconds ;)

Oooh thanks Flutter - as you know I have zilch experience in the kitchen :)

Do you have the catalogue number by any chance?

Susie
