Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

I guess the problem would be proving just who brought the fleas in as the eggs can live for a while before hatching.
Just in case anyone needs it my stepson is a pest controller. There seems to be a flea boom this year!

He must be always busy Lisa! I've used pest people quite often - central London is plagued by pests of all descriptions! :)

i'm surprised there's a boom,not like we've had particularly
good hot weather for them ?

Howdy all:)
Sorry been a bit awol - busy busy weekend! Thanks for your comments re paying the pest man- of course i could charge the landlord (my dad) but then he might remember that i have used the house for 3 of the 6 primetime weeks for free :D as Lisa says - the unwanted tenants could have been left by anyone previously! Anyhow, house seems to be clear now so fingers crossed we're over the worst

Had a great day yesterday - walked in the sunshine along the beach to a hotel with yummy restaurant. We know they have slow service so planned for it. Heavens opened so spent a good two hours there....and the third botlle of rose was "forced" on us by the embarrassed manager when they managed to take 45mins to get the dessert. As we rolled (fairly literally!) out, the sun came out so the dads and girls (our DD and their 3) went crabbing and my friend and i staggered home for a nap in the garden in the sun. Idyllic bhol weather and entertainment:D

Food manageable - had atkins bars and sf biscuits in my bag which i've rolled out at each dessert and icecream moment. Hopefully means i will sts as planned. Guests left today and then my parents have just arrived (with about 2 hours for mad clean up in between) - exhausted!

Looks like crazy load of posts and newbies so off to start working through. See you later
Xx

Evening Katie! :)

Morning Katie, how did it all go?

Morning all:)
Have abandoned DD with grandparents and DH and i escaped to sail hopefully from southampton over to cowes. Forecast of cloud and no wind - but we dont really care:D

Xx

Morning Katie... the sail sounds wonderful! I love water and boats!

Hope you have a good day today! :)

Howdy all:)
Nice day yesterday but had to motor all the way. Out again today (cowes back to southampton) - sun is shining, wind forecast is perfect - i'd better wear sunscreen:D

Morning Katie ... if the weather's like it is here in London it's a great day for a sail - crispy, blue skies at the moment ... good luck! :)

Sounds like a perfect day, very jealous. In contrast I am sat at my desk in a muggy office with no windows to see out of and no air movement, just off the M6 north of Rugby!

Honestly, sometimes I have to pinch myself to check I'm not imagining the exciting life I lead ;) *snigger snigger*

Have an amazing day! x

Hope it was lovely Katie. I've been off all week and we've had a ball. Both children back to school today, so we're down to earth with a bump for another year. :(
