Katies Diary & General Rambling

Good evening I am now headache free bizarrely. Had another litter tonight since I got home from candle party ( where let me tell u every candle smelt edible mmmm) and some codeine it's gone pretty quickly. Have had three litres but am one shake down again so am still within water limits. I am obsessed with the water thing now and my app is broke which is really annoying me. It reminds me of when I worked nights I became obsessed with how many hours I sleep on my break then when I got home and I was always adding it up. I am doing that now with the water lol. But if I don't do that I will only manage a litre I know. I find it beyond mad and am sure Nat will agree that some people are drinking like 5-6 litres a day FFs. Now I a, up all night peeing even when not on is diet and it's worse at the minute so god knows how I would be if I drank all that in a day. Anyway onto more important issues. I am not sure why I am doing this but I am only having two shakes a day plus my ss+ meal. I think it's cos I want the rapid weight loss of ss but feel I need that tiny meal to make me feel normal still. I have my first shake at about 1pm and then my scrambled eggs at 6pm and another shake about 8ish but by the time I have fitted all the water in too making sure I cover the amount from the missed shape the thought of having anything else makes me think blurgh. Am a bit worried that when I all of a sudden feel I do need that third shake of the day my body won't know why I am giving it extra calories all of a sudden. I am an all or nothing I think with food I literally eat like a pig or am a complete restrictive control freak and I need to along this journey find the middle ground somewhere.
Anyway I am off to caravan tomorrow and will no doubt about 9 wees on the way there again lol but I intend to do some walking after work come rain or shine n it will probably be rain so what I may do is have a third shake on the days I walk a fair few miles. I haven't had any mousse bars or water flavourings yet as I wanna give the first week it's best shot. I will weigh myself in morning then have no scales until Monday morning for official WI so will be a shock to system for me as some of u may know lol. And as spangle says u can WI each day so I do lol.

Hey there Honey Bee...The scientific part of me says, that if you are ballancing out the same number of carlories as SS (by replacing 1 shake with a small meal) and the same amount of protein fiber and carbs, then you should be ok.

My only concern, is that the vitamin balance in all the products are essentially to ensure that you get what you need, while omiting normal food (or to suplement on the later plans) if you miss one each day, you may start to suffer slight consequences (I did that for a bit last time and my hair started to fall out, but I know that happens anyway, or so they told me) Maybe just take an extra multi-vit to back you up for a bit - dont want you getting ill do I?

I cant believe people are doing 5lts of water...thats just nuts, I can do 3 tops and thats the absolute tops. I am creasing it now because I am PMT tastic and I weigh in tomorrow. Boo Hiss.

Afternoon everyone hope you are all having a good day. I weighed myself this morning and won't be able to until Monday again now but am finally in the 16's which is great cos when I originally started six weeks ago I was 18.2 so a great motivator. Went on a five mile power walk with hubby no pooch today in the welsh sun after work. Was great stopped halfway and had half a bar and drank a litre of water whilst walking too. Feel ok so far anyway and according to pedometer we burned off over 180 cals which I hope is a good thing.
I feel in a really good place right now and have lost that bloated feeling I get when not on cd so I feel much better. I shall be back later on for more rambling bye for now xx

Just had me chilli soup yum yum. Was desperate for a wee on our drive out before and chris wanted me to go into KFC but I said I'd rather piss myself than go in there and smell that chicken nectar haha.
I feel ok after my walk and hope to repeat it tomorrow maybe add a mile on. Chris usually moans that I lag behind but today I was power walking in front hehe. So nice to see the scales in the 16's this morning as not been down there this year since I got back from honeymoon at least. Hoping to whizz through the 16's though as last time I got to 15-6 and that felt good so that is my next goal now I am out of the 17's I am aiming for 15-6 so I can then aim to go further than last time. I hope this euphoria and positivity continues lol xxx

Oh boy am I shattered this afternoon. Done another five mile power walk this afternoon and I am pooped. Maybe two days running isn't the way forward lol. Had a full bar this morning and 1.5litre of fluid so far which is good for me and only another litre to go. Had a spoonful of tuna on my return just to give me a bit of energy and think am gonna have chicken with lettuce n balsamic for my tea n soup for supper. Feel ok for day five to be honest. I hope I can manage ok tomorrow when hubby is working from 11 until 11 as I will want to do my old habit of crisps n chocolate watching tv scenario eeeek. Off to sainsbury later so will be a flying visit so am not tempted too xxx

Just eaten loads of chicken and I mean loads like 8 thighs with no skin on. Slightly concerned as husband got me garlic n herb as no plain and others all said sugar involved in marinade but garlic isn't allowed is it! I scraped off what could plus the skin. Was so hungry after my big walk and am now craving chocolate and crisps aghhhhh xx

I don't think the garlic will do any harm! Especially since you removed the skin on the chicken. You're better off having that than eating something bad that you'll really regret. You're doing great so far btw :)
 
Dont worry that will just be temporary, they will be back this morning.

Lesson learned, mental note: Dont eat loads of chicken - the rule of thumb to stay in ketosis is use the palm of your hand. So what you can fit in your hand (flat - not like a haystack) is the portion of lean meat you can eat.

Dont worry though, you will be back in the pink today. Chin up chum...

Well my belly feels slightly dodgy today and still no pink ketones but am literally locking myself in caravan until dog needs a walk and I shall be walking her in opposite direction to the dreaded spar which will no doubt feed upon my non ketotic psyche n try n entice me in with promises of sweet n sugary treats grrrr. Onwards n upwards xx

On first shake and have made it with 500ml of water to help my water intake for the day. Am gonna have to use this diary as a way of writing down what I have drunk or I forget.
Coffee-250ml
Sparkling Water- 500ml
Extra water in shake- 200ml

Am not weeing much which I think is prob due to my body deciding to keep hold of some of the water n glycogen grrrrr. Xx

Ohhhh walked Holly round some of the camp site n all I could smell was BBQ mmmm. Having my bar now and some more decaf coffee. Going to go for an ss day today and have a soup later on :) belly still feels yuck but will pass soon am sure xx
