Kitty - O so needs to shift this ar$€ !!!

When I took her back her mum said 'remember we used to do that' and two of my other nieces were there and said the same. At one point I remember having three of them in the bed, most of the time when they all slept with me, I'd end up kipping on the couch ! Thankfully it's just 1 now !

Merry Christmas everyone !!! :xmastree: :26:Xx

Happy New Year everyone !!! :new_year:

Hope you all had a lovely time over the festive period. I certainly have !! :D

I have been completely up the wall these past couple of weeks. I've had two different lots of family staying with me (including some on Christmas day) family doo's, meeting up with friends , two of which have been home from Australia for Christmas ( both in different circles of friends) working at the football matches, and just generally being busy. Looking forward to life slowing down and getting back to normal.

Can't say I've been on plan at all but I've enjoyed what I've ate. I'm not a real lover of chocolate and sweets but have enjoyed the buttery toast (on the white bread) and the cheese and crackers although haven't overdone on them either. I even threw out 2 mince pies yesterday !! I have had a few Chinese take outs with friends but I've chose wisely and got a Low syn option. Yesterday has been my first non alcohol day since the 20th Dec !!!!!
At the mo I've got a bit of a cough and a cold and generally feel a bit run down. Not surprising seeing as I haven't sat still !!

Sooooo- got on the scales this morn to check the damage - 4.5lb on . Was expecting more so that's a bonus !

But I'm not stressing and just moving onwards and downwards.

I'm all prepared to start again. I went shopping yest to buy some green tea, fruit, veg, ryvita, cottage cheese and have made a pan of carrot and lentil soup. I'm back on it today. I'm gonna go for a low syn week to kick start my new year to my new me. I've checked on my calendar and there are 13 Saturdays until I go to Aintree races for the grand national and 23 Saturdays til my mates wedding. So I've got 2 goals to aim for . I'm not going to set a weight target as I've never met a monthly challenge yet and don't wanna get disheartened if I don't meet it. I am gonna join the January challenge tho and go for a loss of 6lb.

When I have had a few mins I have checked on threads at what people have been up to. Gonna go bk over them now and see how you're all doing.

Extra easy today - feeling lousy today so hopefully manage to eat this.

HeA - laughing cow lights
HeB - ryvita

Breakfast - boiled egg and 1 slice wm bread (3)

Lunch - turkey and ham subway salad

Tea - carrot and lentil soup, ryvita topped with laughing cow lights and ham

Snacks - pineapple, grapes, banana, tangerines, raw carrots

Hi Kitty - glad you had a good Xmas sounds brill catching up with friends and family from around the world.

Your plan for the week sounds great and you will get that gain off in no time. x

So, my day went like this. This morning I was asked to look after my niece. Realised that I hadn't taken her to the panto over the school holidays so booked two tickets online . Took her into town to get a few bits. Took her to McDonalds for her lunch, I has my turkey and ham salad plate with sweet onion sauce (2syns). Resisted the lure of the Big Mac!!
Told her I needed to go pick up some tickets and then showed her them at the door, her little face lit up and I got the biggest hugs ever- brought a tear to my eye!

I had come prepared for the show - I brought her some Christmas choccies and a couple of packets of low syn crisps ( just in case I got the urge, which I did) so I ate the quavers (5syns) . "Oh yes I did!!"

She only went home bout half an hour ago so haven't been able to catch up with anyone as she's been glued to my iPad soon as we got home!

Rest of my menu stayed the same except I ate some sliced chicken too cos I was starved !!

All in all a good first day back on plan -10 syns. More than I wanted for today , but at least I'm under.

Oooohhh sounds like a great day.. was it peter pan?? Xx

It was luv. It was great! Ray Quinns off doing Dancing on ice so Philip Olivier filled in today.

I was a sneakster today! There were tickets available for a tenner and all the rest were nearly thirty quid . With the lack of work at the end of last year I just got two tenner tickets and then sat in the expensive seats. I was sitting there until the lights went off tho wondering if I needed to move. It wasn't that busy !! - Result!! :D

Awww bless her little cotton socks - she was made up.

Well done staying on plan hun x

Thanks luv- i was very tempted by the choccy celebrations tho!!

She text her mum at the interval to tell her We were at the panto. Her mum said 'r u having a nice time?' , she replied.
' its the best surprise I ever had' . Near set me off again

X

Without realising we went the toilet first and came thru the door in the middle. There wasn't anyone there checking the tickets, think that helped us too. It was quite empty upstairs so it was easy .

Cos philip, ray quinn and louis emerick were all in brookside , there was lots of skits about that. philip even messed his lines up and they just took the mick outta him?

wouldn't be aLiverpool panto without Pete price. It was very Scouse- loadsa sayings, one liners and and phrases thrown in. And it's an excuse to heckle !!!
X
