Lady Jo's CC journey 6st to lose...

Ooh and also If u want to add me on mfp I'm LadyJo86 xxx

Thanks girls but the luck didnt work, So annoyed put on half a pound! Don't know where that creeped on!!! :( annoying cos I've lost every week and if I had been bad I would have been ok with half a pound but I have been good!
Well today starts a new week, could of easily smashed in a McDonald's breakfast this morning to make me feel better but hey moment on the lips... So a nice bowl of bran flakes and woke up early to get a beef casserole in the slow cooker.
Wondering if it could be to do with starting on weights at the gym I normally just do cardio but been doing some toning and weights cos my thighs and arms are flabby! Or maybe it's just an excuse... :(
Good luck to any other Wednesday weighers! X

Hi LJ , thats annoying but you are probably right re the weights at the gym could have contributed plus I have just come to the conclusion that weightloss is weird and definitely loses and picks up momentum in different places depending on a myriad of different things like exercise, TOTM, what types of food we have been eating & when throughout the day, our bodies getting used to things or shocked by things etc etc etc the list goes on. So there may be bumps in the road but as long as you keep going with eating right and exercising the overall trend HAS to be down down down.

Hope you have a good day, and enjoy the casserole later :)

LJ it's a small gain and the main thing is you can keep it in check and lose it and hopefully a bit more. I would love to be able to just be in "control" and that is what I am aiming for this time once I am at goal. Dealing with the odd one or two pounds gain immediately rather than allowing it to creep up slowly. Vlcd is very hard and for that reason I am never ever want to do it again but it is really good for get the initial bulk of quickly but again extremely hard to get into once one has done it previously. I know now it is a lifestyle change and mindset change I need. If I eat off plan at any time I will be telling myself I haven't failed or fallen or the waggon but simply take action immediately and reduce calories. Sounds simple why haven't I ever done that before?! I am not too good with technical stuff so still working my way on my fitnesspal. Such a dinosaur!

It's only a little gain, it'll be gone next week! It's probably your body adjusting to doing weights - muscle acts even stranger than fat :) I always reckon giving yourself 2 weeks if you change something to tell if how it's working on your body, but again that's different for everyone! You're doing brilliantly & well done with the self control, I'm craving McDonald's Hash browns now hehe ;)

Think ur right berryberry, I was chatting with one of my mates today and I think I'm due on my totm next week and its normally the week before I get other symptoms like being a ***** lol I've calmed down a bit now cos I think my body is going thru so much change I've taken it on the chin and its a new week and time to carry on. I'm so dedicated I can't let it stop me it's half a pound at end of the day and even with that on I've still lost more on This diet than ever before!! Thanks for the support xxxx

That's it kira I've done so many diets so many days of going this time is THE time. I think I've failed before because I just couldn't see the 6st end of the tunnel but I've realised after many failed attempts it is a lifestyle change. Yeah there's gonna be hiccups along the way (like my half pound!!! lol) but this is my life now I don't think I could go back. I feel so much better I used to get really bad headaches and not sleeping well and the feeling of my clothes getting looser is amazing and not worth turning back on now. It doesn't matter how many times u have failed cos this is the time, the rest of my life....x thanks for the support and hope ur doing ok so far xxx

Lol I was a sucker for a sausage and egg muffin and hash brown! Maybe around Xmas time ill treat myslef don't think I could bring myself to it now!!! Xx

Thanks ladies for all your support and encouragement. I'm totally over it now. I was sort of prepared as I had seen it during the week but today starts a new week and I'm feeling fab!!!!!
B- bran flakes with 1% milk
L- jacket spud with prawns and side salad from Asda cafe ( then a little Milky Way!)
D- beef stew (beef carrots onion and swede) with 2 aunt Bessie's dumplings

And omg how bad are dumplings?!?! Luckily my stew was quite low so I had the calories left but omg 169 each!!!

Had a review with personal trainer at the gym today. Not had a plan put together yet so was v excited. Had a little chat and he's changed most of what I was doing to like HIIT for the treadmill rowing and cross trainer. It's good cos I get a rest in between but I know I have to go super fast otherwise!! He's put in a few core exercises that I haven't been doing and advised me on my weights. I want some for at home to really tone my bingo wings and I have proper saddle bags at the top of my legs that need sorting!
Thursday tomm ladies one day till the weekend got a night with the girls on Friday having an Xmas meal. I've already ordered so know I've picked the better choices!
Hope to hear from u soon xxxz

Evening all. Hope you are all well And looking forward to the weekend!
Well my friend asked me if I would like a chippy tea tonight so been a bit naughty and agreed. Did slim fast all day to make sure I had enough cals and I didn't in my 1500 cal target but was enough on my fitness pal. I also went for a gym sesh today, went to see the personal trainer and he made me a plan yesterday so today was my first time of doing it and boyyyyyy it was hard! He changed all what I had been doing to HIIT the rest lull u into a false sense of security cos it was harder than ploughing thru the whole time!

Today's food
B- choc shake and alpen bar
L- caramel shake and WW soup
D- large battered sausage, enough chips to make a chip butty on 2 slices bread.

Will be on the shakes tomm before my night out also! Every little helps!

Happy Thursday everyone! X

Well I'm thinking the HIIT is doing miracles because I weighed the day after and it had not only dropped the half pound I'd put on but a pound on top of that! Which was desperately needed cos this weekend has not been the best! Friday night went out with the girls, drink was flowing we actually went out for a meal but ended up leaving so much food it was such a waste I just wasn't hungry which is funny cos I had starved all day looking forward to it (I say starved I had a low fat cheese sandwich at 11.30 am and that was it!) I managed the pate and piece of toasted thick bread probably about a slice of turkey a roast potato and a stuffing ball and 2 bites of the Xmas pudding with the most delicious custard but I just could not force it in. And after too many alcohol units I can remember I came home to an alka seltzer and about 4 hours kip. Feeling v hungover and tired yesterday was a write off. I woke up and weighed and Was the same that ponud and a half had stayed off, probably all the dancing! but didnt stop me from Sausage sandwich for breakfast not a bad start but it was followed by a McDonalds for lunch and a Chinese for tea. Me and the kids put up the tree and settled to watch miracle on 34th street so it only seemed right to break open the Xmas choccy tin and I had about 4. Oh dear could not bring myself to weigh in and see the damage but it doesn't matter cos that's a one off and I'm back to normal now on the calorie count. Nice bowl of bran flakes and a wrap pizza for lunch the day is going well. Really fancied a large Yorkshire pudding today so got an Asda one is only 405 cals filled with potatoes beef and veg but think ill cook a bit more veg to go with it later on. Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and putting up those Xmas trees!! X
