It's funny how sad and self conscious most of us look in our "before" pictures, even though we didn't know at the time (I presume) they'd be used for that purpose. Seeing the "after" pictures really shows people's true personalities which were hidden in their "previous lives". I'm loving it!
I unfortunately am bigger than last Christmas (hence a manic return to Dukan one month before to try to improve things slightly)... still it's a long way from my 141K start diet weight in 2002 (not a Dukan loss, I hasten to add)
Any other oldies larger this year than last?
It's nice to have the honesty maintainer, the stats say only 25% keep it off and at the moment I'm so hyped up to be at this weight the thought of maintaining until next Christmas hasn't crossed my mind...ladies- how about we all aim to still have pics like these Xmas 2013?!

Maintainer said:I'm afraid that, like many, I found that I'm good at dieting, but useless at "normality" and I've been yoyoing not only last year but since reaching target in 2003 (nothing to do with Dukan, as I didn't discover Dukan until 2007).
25% is a great statistic... I read somewhere that only 5% managed five years' stabilisation when it comes to losing 40K+.
On the positive front, nearly 10 years down the road, I'm still 66.5K down (even if that makes me 5K more than I'd like!)
