Last 'diet' of my life - 8 stone gone!

Believe me Im considering it but I do want to do 10 days of level one first. I may change my mind by the weekend mind you.

Right I can and will do this even if it kills me in the process. Will have to get up at 6.30 on Friday mind you coz I wont have time to do it later. :S
 
Do it. I had day 7 off and may have friday off. Im getting up at ten to seven to do it tomorrow x
 
You really do have to worry about us, lol. Cant have Friday off coz I will definitely need to have Saturday off. There is no way Im going to be able to fit it in to Saturday unless I do it when I get home drunk, lol.
 
Lol ive had a glass of wine and done it before :)
 
Ill be having quite a bit more than a glass of wine, lol. The current plan is meeting for lunch at 12.30 and staying out all day. Might be easier mind you.

I'm starting to get slightly concerned with regards to my weight. Once again I'm feeling incredibly bloated today. I know I've put weight on, I can feel it and I can't afford to go down that road. I may be happy enough to maintain for a while but I certainly don't want to start gaining again.

I have a horrible feeling that once you have done a vlcd for a while you can't lose any other way and that thought terrifies me right now.

Anyway hopefully I'm completely wrong and this won't even be an issue but time will tell. I intend to give it a few more weeks any and see how things go before making any decisions to change anything.
 
If it helps, I lost 2 stone on Atkins, then 5ish stone in 6 months on Cambridge about 4 years ago. Then almost 1 stone in a month on Cambridge this time last year, though that wasnt sole source it was plus, then another stone in about 3 months of very very casual low carb directly after. So it is possible to lose in other ways after a vlcd - I think though that any diet gives better losses if you come to it after a few months of eating rubbish, as I did over Xmas, rather than switching from one to another. Unfortunately obviously that's not really possible when you want to continue losing weight.

I have a feeling that if you stay clean and green, in a couple of weeks your body will be more adjusted to this way of losing.
 
Well I intend to finish Jillian anyway and its way to hard on vlcd anyway so my current plan is to be here until I've finished with that. I've also decided that if I need to miss a day I'm going to do it twice on another day to make up for it so that I do get it finished within the 30 days. Then ill reassess and take it from there.

Since I'm only on day 4 that gives me another 26 days so I'm not rushing into any decisions so will see how it goes in that time.

Morning Jim. I am. Other than low carb sausages, bacon and cream Im not eating anything processed at all. Veggie wise all I eat is lettuce and cabbage so Im not overdoing them and I havent had any sugar alcohols this week at all. And Im exercising!

As I said I might be completely wrong and just retaining water for some reason but I definitely feel as though Im putting weight on. See what the scales say on Friday though.

Not a daft question at all Julz. Its an exercise dvd with Jillian Michaels (one of the trainers from the biggest loser us) called 30 day shred. Absolute killer, lol.
 
Have you got scales which measure water love? maybe be an idea to invest in them? are you having citric acid? also... i find the the l-carnitine atkins recommends really helps :D
 
I think they do Vicky but I dont know how to work them, lol. I do have CLA which I bought last time I was doing Atkins and ended up not using coz they are huge and swallowing them was painful. Maybe I need to start taking them again. Not touching citric acid or anything else I shouldnt so not entirely sure whats going on with me. It will sort itself out one way or another though.

In other news Im seriously considering getting a tattoo next week. It was supposed to be a goal thing but at the rate Im going Ill be lucky if Im there by this time next year so dont want to wait any longer lol.
