So, the food diary I planned on starting on here hasn't happened, mainly due to the fact that I haven't eaten (apart from 2 slices of toast and an apple) since Monday!! Thought I had another nasty tummy bug, but it turns out that I have an irritated appendix!! Got to stay off work today and tomorrow, but been given some meds and gotta take a sample round to the docs today (yuck!!)

Hopefully a couple of days resting up and I will be on the mend! We are going to see Michael McIntyre on sat and have a lovely day of shopping and lunch planned with OH beforehand, so am hoping and praying I get better soon! Xxx

Aw I hope you feel better by the weekend hun, sounds like a lovely one you have planned. Will you eat out?

Michael mcIntyre is great. His comedy roadshow came to the theatre I worked in (worked there for 5 years and only left 2 months ago) and it was amazing. I remember the BBC put a 10 grand tab behind the bar for VIPs and I got a sneaky free drink after work hehe ;) me and michael.jpg
 
Ahh wow that's fab!! I love him, he is hilarious!! ***** 10 grand...that's a lot of vodka and diet cokes!!

Providing I'm feeling better we will defs eat out, and I'm thinking after 3 or 4 days of next to no food I may not have to be TOO strict ;-) we will probs go to nando's or somewhere, where I can make a pretty sensible choice!

I was MUCH better by yesterday thanks :) had a lovely day of shopping and well and truly made up for a 4 days without syns, by having a carvery (not too bad only ate half of it, but did have roast pots and a Yorkie!) THEN throughout the day I had 3 Krispy Kreme donuts!!! That's all I ate all day mind, and works out at around 40 syns, but I'm glad I did I've had no appetite since Monday, so I REALLY enjoyed it, and if I was to work on weekly syns (I don't normally, but know lots who do) then I'm still covered :) xxx

Today's food -

Breakfast- Cheese on wholemeal toast (hex a and b) with bovril, and an apple.

Lunch- chicken mug shot, sour cream sun bites (4 syns) and another apple.

Dinner- pork casserole (2 syns for gravy) with carrots, swede, onions and leaks, + mash (4 syns)

10 syns :) back on it!! Xxx

I love Krispy Kreme, thankfully the nearest place to get them is about 40 miles away, else I'd have them daily! X

Right back to it on the diary front, I'm letting myself slip!

It's Wednesday which means two things - 1) I'm almost mid way through the working week, (at the beginning of the slimming world week!)?and 2) I'm doing my first bit of exercise of the SW week, I'm going swimming tonight, going to do as many lengths as I possibly can, then have a lovely chill out in the sauna and steam room! Can feel the beginnings of a cold so going to try and ward it off before it gets any worse!

Food wise I'm feeling very positive for the week. I need 3lbs to get my 2 stone, and am joining a new class next week on weds instead of tues, so really hoping I can do it before the wedding next Saturday! There is the possibility of afternoon drinks this Saturday, but hopefully I can be sensible, especially providing it doesn't end up being a night out!

Today's food is looking like this:-

Breakfast - fruit when I get to work.

Lunch - the rest of last nights meal out pasta, basically arrabiatta, so will say 4 SYNS for any oil used, as everything was made fresh in the restaurant. Will also have some fruit.

Dinner - SW burgers - EL mince, wholemeal bread bun (HEX B) cathedral city lighter cheese (HEX A) SW chips, and some superfree veg. Will have 1 SYN of ketchup too...looking forward to it!

Planned syns for the day - 5

Exercise - swimming.

Well...cold has gotten worse as the day's gone on so I decided against a swim and hot sauna then a walk home whilst damp!

Food wise I've stuck to my plans though, apart from a teeny cake one on the kids made (4 SYNS) so syns for today will be 10, not six! I may try for 10 a day rather than 15 incase I do go for those drinks at the weekend xxx

Well I've decided to try a green day today, feeling very virtuous!!

B- wm toast, marg 1, bovril, apple.

L- wm sarny (1 slice of bread) marg (1 syn) chicken (0.5syns) sunbites (4syns) fruit.

D - jacket, beans cheese (hex a)

6.5 syns so far, may use some extra for a treat tonight!! X

Grrr! I just typed out a mega long post on my phone and it deleted it :-( so...here I go again!!

Basically I had a bit of a wobbler this week! Was off plan (in the form of sausage chips and gravy, a chicken tikka masala, countless BICCYS, a REAL bag of crisps, some chocolates AND a thick slice of tiger bread with an EVEN thicker layer of lurpac!!) I just went wild, until Sat evening!!

Since then I've had a but of a pep talk with OHs mum, whom I go to slimming world with, and have realised a few potential reasons (but NOT excuses!!) for me losing the plot.

1) I've been full of cold this past week- and taking the age old phrase 'feed a cold' to the limit!!

2) I've not REALLY been on track for the two weeks previous to this one due to two bouts of tummy bugs, which may have knocked my routine, and FINALLY...

3) For the past few weeks group has been dreadful!! When we started we had a great consultant who was really enthusiastic and encouraging, but unfortunately she was a stand in. When she could no longer do our group we got ANOTHER stand in, who was less enthusiastic. Don't get me wrong she is really nice, just a bit dithery!
My group has always been small, about 12-15 people...but now it's dwindled to 6 and just feels like a waste of time!

SO...this week OHs mum and I have decided to join a new group in the next village from ours, run by our original stand in consultant on weds night. I'm actually looking forward to it, even though I'm expecting a gain!

So there you have it, my philosophy on my utterly unexplainable loss of control! Have been back on track since yesterday, even went to the gym for an hour AND swam 15 lengths of the pool, AND walked 20 mins there and back. An aching today but determined to go back after work, so have got my bag packed and sat next to me on the bus!

Will post Yest and today's food below. As that's when the site crashed earlier. Happy Monday everyone!! Xxx
