Grrr! I just typed out a mega long post on my phone and it deleted it :-( so...here I go again!!
Basically I had a bit of a wobbler this week! Was off plan (in the form of sausage chips and gravy, a chicken tikka masala, countless BICCYS, a REAL bag of crisps, some chocolates AND a thick slice of tiger bread with an EVEN thicker layer of lurpac!!) I just went wild, until Sat evening!!
Since then I've had a but of a pep talk with OHs mum, whom I go to slimming world with, and have realised a few potential reasons (but NOT excuses!!) for me losing the plot.
1) I've been full of cold this past week- and taking the age old phrase 'feed a cold' to the limit!!
2) I've not REALLY been on track for the two weeks previous to this one due to two bouts of tummy bugs, which may have knocked my routine, and FINALLY...
3) For the past few weeks group has been dreadful!! When we started we had a great consultant who was really enthusiastic and encouraging, but unfortunately she was a stand in. When she could no longer do our group we got ANOTHER stand in, who was less enthusiastic. Don't get me wrong she is really nice, just a bit dithery!
My group has always been small, about 12-15 people...but now it's dwindled to 6 and just feels like a waste of time!
SO...this week OHs mum and I have decided to join a new group in the next village from ours, run by our original stand in consultant on weds night. I'm actually looking forward to it, even though I'm expecting a gain!
So there you have it, my philosophy on my utterly unexplainable loss of control! Have been back on track since yesterday, even went to the gym for an hour AND swam 15 lengths of the pool, AND walked 20 mins there and back. An aching today but determined to go back after work, so have got my bag packed and sat next to me on the bus!
