Hi Steph, sounds like it's all going well. I counted my syns and think it was 30 which isn't too bad so going to draw a line under it and not stress. I think it's my star week - have mirena coil so don't get periods but feel bloated.

Today I'm off work (only v part time). We're going to a play place shortly so will probably drink my body weight in tea.

Lunch may be their all day breakfast with quorn sausages. Tea is likely to be low fat sausages and mash or chips with a mix of veg. I need to up my superfree food fruit/veg as didn't have much yesterday.
 
Thank you!! I've started making my excuses not to go to the gym today already- so far they are as follows:-
Had hair done and the dye might run when I sweat!!
Just had lunch (subway salad- yum!) so I'm too full to go just yet!
I'm on leave from work so my holiday has officially started!
I haven't finished packing!
My car needs cleaning out because it resembles a skip at the moment!!
What on earth is wrong with my lazy bum today!!

Lol. Did you persuade yourself to go to the gym in the end?

Sticking to the plan well this week, including only having a half portion of haggis today :(

I may have had too many syns yesterday as I didn't realise Thornton's peppermint creams were a syn each. Oh well.

Happier news was I managed my 5k run with minimal trauma on the coughing front. I'm very glad as I need to continue with my 10k training!

Didn't end up going to the gym that day I posted- and I haven't been since!! I'm so bad!!!
Had a great holiday and came back and continued to think I was still on holiday!! Now I mean business.... Back on track when I get weighed tomorrow and I've signed up to do a 10k in June!! Better get myself into gear!!! Haha!
 
Hi Steph, I've been OK thanks. After a very happy 3.5lb loss I had an indulgent weekend (not stupidly) as dryathlon finished so had some wine and cider and a meal out.

I've also restarted my running (4k Sunday/5k Tuesday) so hoping they'll balance any over synning but I've been on track this week. I've been naughtily checking the scales which have stayed static all week till this am after my run when they went up. They've done that before so think it's a blip. Wi tomorrow!

Today I've not had much super free bar a fruit pot but have been on plan except that. I nearly called it a red day but had take out curry (lamb rogan josh) and boiled rice, half the pot so 3.5 syns.

How've you been getting on?

Wowsers 3.5lbs!! Ace!! I'm also a serial weigher- always being naughty and checking my own scales- sometimes I think it helps though! WI tomorrow for me too! I'll be gaining without doubt! But I'll get it off next week!!!
Had all of my syns on holiday in about 3 days and then adopted the 'sod it I'm on holiday' attitude!! I'm not sure if we will get another holiday this year (I hope so, I'm such a sun worshipper) so a week off plan won't do me any harm in the long run!!
Running wise, I'm going to get some proper running trainers this month because my rubbish ones are hurting my ankles!!!

I maintained. :( I'm OK with that.

I think it's a few things, i think it's annoying water from starting running again as was 2lbs lighter till my Tuesday 5k and now my chest infection's gone I'm deliberately more active.

I'm probably eating more as feeling better and had an off plan day Saturday so that may be part of it. And also bodies are weird and I've been losing without much effort and without being completely on plan!

Meh, who knows? I felt Iike coming home and stuffing my face but won't be silly.
 
Awww mate, at least you can pin point different things+can put it down to those. You should have a bigger loss next week xx
 
Thanks, trying not to mind too much, perhaps no cheats would help but I know I'm out Saturday and will be off plan (the restaurant serves every meal with chips so have decided to have a burger!) so may be doomed!
 
That's my plan! I'm not very good at squirreling syns away and end up just feeling deprived but even mostly sticking to 12/13 syns would help!

I think I also need to up my superfree food. For eg for breakfast I had an egg on potato waffle (2.5 syns), lunch is bacon, mushrooms, cheese (hexa), peppers on jacket potato and a yogurt.

Tea is leftover curry (3 syns) with boiled rice. Tomorrow I'm not working so will make more home cooked food but working today hence leftovers.

I may try and get a baking apple so I can have a stuffed apple/mincemeat as pudding and hexb.

Does that sound alright? X

I'm still sticking to no booze in the week, for good health really and may save a few to at least combat the inevitable bottle of wine!
 
I went for a run after wi and was still grumpy. I went back to class this evening for image therapy without my three year old after having a Reese's nutrageous bar as still feeling down (possibly pmt as the world is annoying me!) I thought of I stayed at home I'd overeat or drink wine!

Anyway, it put it in perspective as there's a lady there who always loses 1/2lb a week and I've lost 23lb since the start of December so I'm a bit happier.

So I'm having a glass of wine, I've rung the restaurant and swapped to jambalaya (rice and fish) instead of a burger and chips.
 
Well done for getting yourself out of the situation and for going back to group. We all want the losses NOW but our bodies don't work that way, they're stubborn things.
Yoy sound positive which is great and good for you for changing your meal, I'm impressed.

Thanks Rae Rae, I've had my little indulgence but back on track today and typically my scales show the lb loss again! Oh well, think it's 2lb till my 10% which is doable!
 
A maintain is better than a gain! I sometimes find that when I've been good, it shows on the scales the following week so stay focused and I'm sure you'll get your 2lb for your 10% next week!!
Well done on swapping your meal too- that's determination!!
I skipped class yesterday- I had a headache during the day which turned into a migraine and all I wanted to do was curl up in a ball in a dark room. I could have run into class and got weighed and then left but figured that I might as well wait until next week. So I weighed in at home instead! 3lb gain after my holiday. Totally know how I did it but I hope it doesn't take too long to shift! I feel a bit down about it because I even lost weight at Christmas and I feel like this has set me back a bit! Mustn't dwell though! Damn! X
