Little Miss Naughty's Food Diary

I think ul be surprised you’ve stuck to it apart from few days and it your 1st week back on plan so I think it will be good.

Is that all u have untill ur hol u lucky thing

I hope you're right but I'll see in the morning.
Yes 5 weeks tomorrow till my holiday. I'd love to get down to 10.9 by then but that would mean doing nearly 2lbs a week every week, so it might be a bit optimistic but I'll give it a good go :)

Wow I’m so jel. Have u ever booked packages to Disney just wondering if u know a cheap time to book. We are just goin do it as a package because will stress me out if not. Also been looking at Thomas Cook as they are slightly cheaper

I'd love to say I'm really excited about going in October but his sisters and their families are going as well and staying nearby. I really don't get on with one of them and Amy doesn't like one of the step kids, so it'll be a nightmare when they are around. But I'm hoping they'll want to go off and do their own thing.

No we've never booked a package because it's always worked out better for us to do it ourselves. If you're going to stay in Disney, don't do a package through a third party operator as there is a bus from the airport to the disney hotels that disney lay on for you, so really not worth paying extra do do it as a package.

Oh right hopefully they will clear off then lol.

God sly then aren’t they ur very handy lol. We plan on stayin clarion it’s coming out at 5 grand so not to bad . The Disney hotel is only offering free breakfast now endless pay 2k each. Sooner take more spends.

I was lookin at Rosen pointe inn I think it’s called on international drive as looks a lot around there. Only thing is only bus to universal and SeaWorld which we aren’t doin. So would cost more. At least with clarion get free bus to park and can either walk
Or get taxi to springs so will be better

Clarion is a really good hotel and close to all the amenities. We've stayed on the 192 in kissimee as well and that's a really good location, so might be worth looking around there as well. Most hotels have a free bus to the parks but they usually only go either once or twice a day, so you really need to plan.

I've stayed on International Drive, personally I wasn't so keen but only because it is on such a big scale and quite a way from Disney, plus its not as pretty as Kissimee or Lake Buena Vista but that's only my personal preference.

I think cause stayed lbv before I think stick to what you know. We stayed at staybridge suites it was right near steak and shake.

Ye international drive does seem that way . Haven’t even looked at Kissimmee is that close to Disney spring because plan on gettin taxi there and hopefully won’t be to much

Kissimmee isn’t too far from Disney, closest to Animal kingdom but depends where you’re staying. Google old town Kissimmee, they have things on there most nights, highly recommended and also Disney’s celebration is not far away so would be worth going there as well if staying near old town. I prefer that area to Lake Buenavista as more to do.

Good morning!

1 week in and I've lost 1lb this morning. I am quite happy with that after my naughty Friday and Saturday. Obviously I wish it could have been more but it's better off than on.

I think it's been slower coming off this week because not only did I have a couple of bad days but also being back at work means I'm not walking every day. While I was away I walked between 4-8 miles every day, since I've been back I've not walked at all.

On a positive note, I'm back on my peddles every morning now, today I've done 40 mins. So hopefully that will help a bit.

So I'm 1lb down, 11lbs to go in 5 weeks. Hopefully I'll get a couple of good weeks. This week I have nothing much planned, so hopefully I'll see a good loss next week. Then the 2 weekends after I am away, so hoping for a little loss on each or sts at the very worst.

Yay well done hun. Your so right about the walking didn’t think about that. You was out everyday aswell wasn’t you. Also you didn’t pig out on holiday so ur body won’t be tht shocked by you cuttin down. Where as me that’s a diff story haha

You will manage ur 11lb easy.

Was about to book Florida last night 😀😀
Prices up with Thomas cook can fly on the Saturday from Manchester so don’t need to wait for his hols as always gets that date off. Was goin through it all and we said no to car hire and then noticed it said if no car need to make own way. There was a option for a taxi 130 pound which seems a lot. Anyway he kept sayin let’s have a car I was like no it’s another 500 and don’t need one for clarion.

Few questions for you

Would we need a car seat for Olivia in taxi from airport to hotel ? (Read can be funny over there)

People say the bus times are a bit rubbish to the park the free shuttle. So he was like if we have a car go at our own time but I said not worth it it’s like 22 dollars a day to park. Is it just one shuttle each mornin? Is it early ?

Last question lol

Does the shuttle go to all the parks every day or is it like Epcot Monday animal kingdom Tuesday kind of thing ?

Yes I was thinking the same. It's always really hard for me to get back on track after I've been away for the summer because I normally give up when I don't see a loss after the first week. But this time I am determined and hopefully calorie counting will help me stick to it a bit better this time. I'm really determined, so motivation isn't a problem, I just hope I can see good losses again in the coming weeks. I think having a good loss on your first week back gives you a good boost but this isn't the case this time.

Unless you want to go out and about a lot while in Florida, I'd not bother with a car. You can get a transfer or an uber for less than that. I can't remember exactly how much it is but it's no where near that price.

Personally I think you would be absolutely crazy to take a car to the parks. It will take you about 20 -30 mins to walk to Disney Springs and then you can get disney transportation around the parks. The hotel buses leave a few times every day and they go to all the parks and the outlet https://www.clarionlbv.com/food-and-fun/theme-park-shuttles/
If you wanted to go at a different time I would imagine it would be about 10 dollars to get an uber to disney springs.

When Amy was little we took a booster seat (just the seat bit) for her if we knew we were going on a long journey but most transfers/taxis have them if you ask.

So if you're pricing up with Thomas Cook for a package and they are only sorting the flight and hotel but not transfers, I don't understand why you don't just book it all yourself. Honestly it is so easy, you can book the flights direct and the hotel from booking.com, expedia or someone like that.

You know the Disney busses then at Disney springs can anyone use them? I just assumed they where for people stayin in Disney itself.

Ye I agree car is pointless. Didn’t really want to take a car seat because if book with thomson ur on a coach so don’t need one. This on only trouble with Thomas cook it’s either taxi 130’or car. He will just want to book it so it’s sorted.

I looked at them sites but a lot of flights had stops and I gave up lookin as kept freezin as my internet was playin up haven’t looked again. Might have a nose this afternoon

The disney park transportation is free to anyone wanting to move around the parks including Disney Springs and the waterparks. They run all the time from when the parks open to when they close. They do also go around the onsite hotels, so if you wanted to, you could go and look at the hotels. Some are lovely to look at, so would recommend stopping for a noisy.

I'd check out skyscanner.net and put in direct flights only. Also look direct at Virgin, Delta, Norwegian, thomas cook, BA and American airlines. Sometimes the cheapest prices don't always show on Skyscanner.

Oh that’s good then isn’t it . Surpose u have paid enough for the tickets . That hotel
Is ideal then where it is really.

Haha I’m nosey like that lol don’t think he would be impressed tho lol.

See prob I have is he will only go on certain planes so prob work out no cheaper but il look

When you say he'll only go on certain planes what do you mean? Out of all the ones I've put I'd say Thomas Cook are the worse planes. They have less leg room and seats are quite small compared to some of the others.

You don't need a disney ticket to use the disney buses because they don't go in any of the parks. They stop outside and also anyone can go in the hotels.

Well I don’t know if u know he don’t like flying. Does research on planes haha weirdo lol. He watches all the tv programmes where planes crash lol. He said last night thomas cook has new planes no so long ago so they are ok.

Would u say thomson are better to fly with then? Thomas cook is good because u can choose ur seat as u book it and there are some good seats left basically on there own so would have leg room

OMG I could never watch those programs lol!

I guess if he's already made his mind up then he probably wont change it but I don't really agree. Even though some of the planes might be newer, they probably wont be as comfortable. The new Norwegian ones are supposed to be good, we're going on one in October, so hopefully it will be good. The Virgin/Delta planes are always good. I'm not sure if Thomas Cook always use their own planes or if they pair up with other Airlines, so that would be worth looking into if he is sure he wants to go with Thomas Cook.
I've never been long haul on Thomson so not sure about their planes.
You can chose your seats on most now, some might charge extra for a good seat but I know you can pick your seats on Virgin and Delta as soon as you book.

I know he’s mad. He’s more stuff comfort wants safety lol. He fancied goin on the Dreamliner . Just looked it’s 250 more with thomson Dunno what to do. Can’t book seats with them , well u do but so many days before checkin where as Thomas cook is now. Virgin is a lot more I wanted go with them but can’t justify the extra money
