Have you been on the Farepak website because there is quite a bit of information on there from the receivers. I dont know if it will be of any help to you.

No more feeling sorry for myself!!!

Ok I lost a toenail...no big deal..I'm alive!!

Today will be my last day off work...going back in tomorrow....but still have to leave early to get it dressed daily. Still hurts but now it's mainly my ankle that aches cos of walking funny for a week!!

I emailled Farepak yesterday but will write a letter too. I've paid £3968.23 to them.....there's little chance of getting it back but you never know. £270 of it was mine plus a couple of hundred comission....I feel guilty and sorry for all the people at work that I've taken money off since january...but they know it's not my fault.

I've eaten for england in the last few days (week even!) but today it all changes. Just having my 1st half a shake of the day.

Well done Amanda!!! Great to hear you sounding more like your old self again. (Hooray!! I've got my old mate back!! :D ).

Have a relaxing day at home today honey - after all, you DO deserve it! - and get glugging that water again :)

Good luck with Farepak, but I also suspect it's unlikely anyone will see any of their money back. Of course no-one can hold you responsible and there's no reason you should feel guilty as you invested money with them entirely in good faith .. and lost money yourself too.

Had a good day today...
....nice long bath with foot a danglin :)
...a friend visited for an hour this afternoon :D
....went to docs to get toe dressed :)
....Nurse told me I don't have to go back in...gave me dressings to do it myself :D
....rang solicitor....she told me I have a very good case for comp :confused:
...todays the first day since it happened that I haven't fallen asleep with exhaustion:rolleyes:
....kids at their dads for the night:p
....another night infront of the telly!:rolleyes:
...back to work tomorrow...again! :( :confused:

Good Morning!!

Bit of an update....

Went back to work thursday and told my both I will be making a claim....I stressed that it wasn't for the money more to make a point that this sort of thing can't happen in the workplace. He understood completely and said he was expecting me to anyway. I was so worried about telling him.

Toe is much much better....no dressing on it anymore. It looks disgusting, my daughter keeps telling me to put a plaster on it to cover it up.

Gemma had her Karate Grading last night and passed with flying colours.....she's now a yellow belt and feeling very proud of herself.

We're off to my sisters in about an hour....it's up in licolnshire so a couple of hours drive...really looking forward to it....haven't been there this year!!

Might even call in on my dad tomorrow as we'll be over his way. And he hasn't seen me since new years day....and has no idea I've been dieting!!

Right...better get dressed :)

It was great to see that you had the guts to tell your boss that you would be claiming. I would give anything to have the guts to tell my boss something like that. Whenever I was working I was just such a yes sir no sir kind of person. Out of work I was completely different so I guess I was just socialised into licking the ass of authority. I hated it though.

Bet your Dad cant believe his eyes when he sees you!! You look great!!
 
Before losing weight I'd never of had the guts to tackle them....but I have a right to claim. I've told them I'm not doing it for the money...more to make a point that they should be looking after their staff better. What I get off them will hardly make me rich ...shame eh? lol

Thanks for the return of the clothes Sharon...must get them out of the garage...forgot last night!!

Had a really good weekend with my sister....ate too much and drank loads but back SSing today...again!!

Went to my dads but he wasn't in....rang his mobile and he was in somerset...typical!!

Morning!

Claire I've still got a couple of stone to go but hoping it'll give me a bit more confidence. Don't feel totally confident yet....in a way I feel like I'm pretending to be confident if that makes sense???
But it's all a few steps in the right direction.

Every day or few days I seem to find an excuse to come off the diet which isn't doing me any good at all.

At the rate I'm going this couple of stone will take me a couple of years to get off...lol

Hi Amanda

Have you went onto one of the other plans yet? Or are you still trying to SS? You dont look like you need a couple of stone off from your picture but maybe its just a spectacular picture. It must be hard to be on the SS programme for ages, even if it has given you brilliant results. Maybe you should do 790 or something to give you something you can chew. Or alternatively you could stay on SS and look at a picture of you whem you were fat every time you wanna eat. Have a look at my post on adversion therapy in the vlcd section. There are some good pictures in there.
