Well it's day 4 :)

I haven't been perfect but better than I've been for ages!
4 Packs yesterday and monday and 5 on tuesday .....and nothing else! Not ideal but the best I've done for a while.

I'm out tonight for a friends 40th birthday .....lots of eating and drinking going on but I've offered to drive so won't be worried about the booze. I'm planning to have a caesar salad without the dressing so that shouldn't be too bad. Hope with it being my 4th day I'll be strong enough not to falter more :D

Just been to Sainsburys and bought a huge choc cake for my mate tonight. Took it into the pub with the candles so they can get it prepared for us (them!) and the girl behind the bar said someone else also bought in a cake for a 40th tonight.....hope we're (they're) not going to have 2 cakes to eat!! Hopefully someone else is also celebrating tonight!!!

I get to talk to my mum tonight and I can't wait!!!!

She's been on Safari in Africa for the last 2 weeks. Just hope she's seen an elephant!!! Her 2 ambitions in life were to see the Statue of Liberty and to see an elephant in the wild. She went off to New York a couple of years ago and spent the whole weekend b*nking so they never got as far as the Statue!!

Crazy pair!!!! lol

Hello from Amanda World :D

Tried to ring my mum before I went out last night....no reply though. Thought they must be jet lagged so didn't ring again just left a message for them. This morning she rang to say her flight was delayed 14 hours and they'd been put up in a 5* hotel over night so got an extra day on their holiday.
She DID see elephants....and cried!!!

I was Mrs Perfect last night!! I had caesar salad, 2 soda waters and NO cake!!!

Tonight is date number one and I've got another one arranged for sunday lunch!! How good it is to have options lol

So glad things have turned around for you Amanda or is it Mrs Perfect? Funny things have turned around for me too this week and have lost my holiday gain and an extra 3lbs that's my first real loss since bootcamp. We will be happy bunnys by Christmas (as long as I don't blow it at Center Parcs).

So glad your Mum had such a fab holiday and saw an elephant too. I guess now they are married b*nking isn't the priority anymore! LOL

Yes try to change your title I keep getting worried!

That went well!!!!
Very very well!!!:D

Went on a bit of a pub crawl trying to find the right place to be able to talk....

1st pub everyone was eating and squashed together so conversations were over heard,

2nd was an old pub thats been done up into a trendy new restaurant (we thought it was still a pub!!)

3rd was a bit too local...it went quiet when we walked in and everyone stared so we walked out...lol

4th was one in town....bit noisy but we found a quiet corner and spent hours talking and drinking (diet coke!)

Not the best looking of blokes but a lovely, lovely man!! :D
