So, figured I'd start a food diary to keep me going:

Breakfast:
35g Harvest Moon (Aldi) Bran Flakes (HEB)
Skimmed Milk (part of my HEA)
x1 Cup of tea, splenda, skimmed milk

Snacks:
Grapes
Muller Light Toffee
x1 glass of Pepsi Max
x1 Cup of tea, splenda, skimmed milk

Lunch:
Batchelor Beef Rice
Steamed corguettes, mange tout, chopped tomatoes, red onion and chilli

Snacks:
x4 tsp Nutella (6 syns)
x2 Snack a Jack rice cakes (4 syns)

Dinner:
Sharwoods Rogan Josh curry sauce - picked the chicken out of the sauce to reduce the syns (whole jar is 16 syns, but going to count it as 5 syns)
Long Grain rice
Steamed corguette, mange tout and baby sweetcorn
x1 glass of no added sugar squash

Muller light vanilla with strawberries

TOTAL SYNS = 15!

Not a good start, but hoping the curry sauce didn't make much damage.

Beef stirfy with noodles and veggies
Muller Light yoghurt (Toffee)

1 tbsp of Sweet Chilli Sauce (1.5 syns)
Banana, half an apple, bunch of grapes and strawberries

1x glass of milk (skimmed)

TOTAL SYNS = 8
 
FRIDAY 19th JULY

Breakfast:
35g Harvest Moon Bran Flakes
Skimmed Milk
Glass of milk (skimmed)

Lunch:
Cup of tea and a slice of the most gorgeous cake
HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THE SYN VALUE!

Snacks:
Costa original lemon iced tea

Dinner:
Steak medallion with salad and veggies
(Lambs lettuce, tomato, cucumber, baked mushrooms, steamed courgette and mange tout)
Muller Light yoghurt

SATURDAY 20th JULY

Breakfast:
Bacon, fried with fat trimmed
x2 slices of Nimble Malted Wholemeal bread (HE)
x1 glass of skimmed milk (HE)

Snacks:
Snack a Jack S&V (2 syns)
x1 Glass of No Addedd Sugar squash

Lunch:
Low Fat Super Noodles, peas, sweetcorn and carrot
Banana

Snacks:
x1 Mini Milk (1.5 syns)
x1 glass of NAS squash

Dinner:
Chilli with green peppers
Rice
Homemade refried beans (2 syns for the butter I added)
x1 glass of NAS squash

SUNDAY 21st JULY

Breakfast:
x2 slices of Nimble malted wholemeal bread (HEB)
x1 tsp light lurpak (1.5 syns)
x1 tsp Nutella (1.5 syns)
x1 cup of tea, skimmed milk (HEA)

Lunch:
x1 apple
x1 banana
x1 can of Pepsi max
Hubby went to MacDonalds drive thru and we popped to his parents so ended up with just fruit.

Snack:
x1 cup of tea

Dinner:
Rendang chicken curry with coconut milk - I have no idea about the syns! (10 syns for 1/4 can of coconut milk!!!)
Tilda microwave rice (1.5 syns)
x1 banana
x1 glass NAS squash

Dinner:
Cajun turkey steaks with rice, red onion, red pepper, kidney beans and chicken stock. Red pepper, red onion, chilli, lime juice and pineapple. (1.5 syns)

Last minute craving! 1 tbsp of Nutella (4 syns)

Ok, didn't manage to record the weekends food. Did well during the day but ended up having pizza on Saturday, which was fairly low fat, and curry with a naan on Sunday. Plus so crisps and chilli cheese dip. So, start fresh today although I desperately need to go shopping!
 
WEDNESDAY 31st JULY

Ok, so this week has not gone well.... With a teething baby, sore throat, cricked neck yadda yadda yadda I've not done well. But, back on it today - the wedding is in sight and I need to lose 5lbs by 24th August! Will I do it??
