Hey - wow here is the place to be, you're all in lous place!! Now all shoot me down BUT if you think you need something aside form dieting then its worth talking at length with the doctor once your 15 weeks are up and considering your options (one of which is the tablets) Sometimes you NEED to try somthing for yourself to be able to write it off as a no (remember me and the CD Lou?) if its as bad as everyone says i,e the stomach cramps, diohrea etc etc then you'l be back to SW as quick as a flash.
I went to the docs last week for a medical (randomly selected as part of our life insurance application) anyway, doc asked me if ther was anything I wanted to ask while I was there, I asked bout SW on prescription, he said 'no, we dont do that, but your bmi qualifies you for diet tablets, would you like to try them?' honestly that was it! and i was like, erm no thanks, I can do SW but I just wondered bout the SW thing! I dont think they should be given as readily as they must be in some areas, but I do think that they must work and e suited for some people, each to ther own and all that xxxx
