Morning all, feeling a bit rough, had a great night, said goodbye to the last of the guests at 2.30....lots of tea for breakfast, I don't think I will ever be hungry again......and as for wine!!!! I am afraid to drive this morning, will have to wait til the afternoon to do the weekend shop. My two eldest are coming home from college for the weekend...looking forward to seeing them.

Any night where you're scared to drive the next morning was a good night indeed! :D (I didn't feel safe to drive for about 2 days after last New Year's Eve :eek:)

Hope you have a lovely weekend with your kids (and that they're not bringing you a term's worth of washing!)

Hi all, well i haven't been on here for over a week. I had a great weekend with all the family but ended up the the flu, so have been in bed for most of the last week, eating went ok, couldn't really taste anything, but i was taking over the counter medicines so i suspect i have put on, but i won't weigh myself til next sat.

Todays menu
Brunch Baked eggs with chorizo and a small bit of cheese
D Homemade burger wrapped in lettuce with coleslaw and a slice of bacon.

Not really a lot of food and calories will be way down, but I ned to get to the shops to get in some veg and cream, hopefully tomorrow....

I hope you all had a great week.

Oh Sammy you poor love, there has been a nasty virus going around - make sure you are properly rested before throwing yourself back into the hurly burly of life :)

Mm think I might have caught the virus off this site....well on the way to being better. Really hungry tonight, trying desperately to only eat legal things!

Morning all feeling much better today.. will have to tackle house, not looking forward to that. I did not each much yesterday only about 900 cal., not good. I didn't even feel like my trusty ham and coleslaw roll ups which is what I usually go for when I think cals are too low. Probably not enough greens.

Today
B Flax pancakes made into bacon and melted cheese sandwich...yum
L brocolli and stilton soup
D not sure yet
Hope you all gave a good day.

Soup made, had a taste it is gorgeous, can't wait for lunchtime.

I have never tasted pumkin pie.....had the soup once, but was not keen on it, might try it again.

Brocolli stilton soup was delish but I made enough for two days.......ate it all today, sigh.

D pork chops with fried cabbage.
That's all that is planned, really full after lunch.

Glad to hear you're on the mend, sammy - so many horrid bugs going round right now :(

I've never tried pumpkin in any form - don't know why, but for some reason the idea of it doesn't appeal (silly, I know ) I've also never cooked with Blue Stilton - haven't lived, have I? :D I'll have to give the broccoli and Stilton soup a go sometime - sounds lovely!

Morning all, on the train bringing D3 shopping for an outfit for a wedding at the end of the month. I totally lost my focus yesterday....was ok til bout 7 then I ate crisps, bread and lots of sweets that I had bought for the trick or treaters....sweets I don't even like! I really only like dark chocolate, have done since I was a child.....why why why did I do this!
I have decided to take a break again today, will make it easier to eat at lunch time, I am hoping the blip is because I was unwell last week or am I just trying to fool myself....

@scrumbles...lenils are something I can't bear, also pearl barley...my mum used to put them in soup.

Hope you all have a good day, I am going to reread my atkins book tonight, well some of it!
