Another lovely day today. Very hot but with a nice breeze so spent most of the afternoon on the beach reading.

Went for a chinese buffet tonight - it was lovely but again, ate a little more than I really needed....not knowing quite when to stop when its all there in front of you! But I really enjoyed it.

~Allowed a 9yr old to choose! and to be fair, I wasn't complaining as I love chinese.

Home Friday - leave here 10.15am so only have four whole days left now. :cry: Although will be nice to see my lovely OH - I am missing him terribly! which considering I go away a lot for work, I am not sure why .....think its probably because when I am working I have something else to focus on and by the end of the day, I am just so knackered that I stay in my room and have an early night.

I think its that "absence makes the heart grow fonder" stuff - and a bit of rose tinted glasses!!!

He was here for the first week - sister arrives in about 15 mins....just got the tea ready.

Been a little chillier today so no beach trip out - the wind in the Algarve is the thing. Its still really sunny but a bit too breezy.

Did a lot of the work I had to do - so nearly finished - am I relieved! Didn't think I would manage it for a while there....

Foodwise not brilliant again - and wont be doing my exercise DVD with 7 of us in the flat!

Bought a packet of peanut M&M's (the family one) and have been nibbling on them - even though they are making me feel sick.

I was going to buy some earlier in the week and resisted then caved in today.....muppet!

I can't believe how cheap wine is here. I was under strict instruction from my sister to have a bottle of white and a bottle of rose chilled and ready for her and my neice when they arrived.

I don't drink wine so had no idea what to buy - and as all the labels were in Portuguese, I was none the wiser....so have no idea what they got.

Got the most expensive white they had (3.49) and the only Rose (.79cent) - its cheaper than fizzy drinks. So wrong. xx

Oh my, a girl after my own heart!! One word of advice then - DO NOT , i repeat DO NOT look at this months edition of Good Food Magazine There is a recipe with loads of pictures of a peanut butter chocolate CAKE!!!! EEEEEK!!!:drool:
