It's hard to tell as mostly covered up still, but the bits I can see look like an apple that has been left in the fruit bowl way past its best - kind of yellow/grey
Roll on Monday when I can take the dressing off and have a shower
Yes I went back yesterday - only so long you can spend being idle in bed

It's separate - I had my spine fused 2 years ago so my back is quite weak, but the surgery has made no difference to me pain-wise. I am just having a flare up at the moment:sigh:
