Hey there, I'm back - but was ruddy cold. I was quite good:

Friday dinner - room service as I was starving - the others had eaten at Burger King on the way! Roast chicken and potato and celeriac dauphinoise - bloody lovely, but I left most of the gravy. I wasn't going to eat the potato but it was so scrum.

Saturday
b - sausage egg and bacon with mushroom and tomato! It was quite funny because I ordered 3 poached eggs, only to have three waiters bring them out to me, one egg on a plate each!!
d - rib eye steak and salad

Sunday
b - more of the same!
d - rhubarb muffins

Monday back to normal, and I managed to maintain my -2lbs! Yey!

The kids were in hysterics at the eggs! My OH wasn't much better! The following morning I restricted it to two, and they came on one plate!! Not being Dukaneers I can only imagine that they thought 3 of us were having one egg each

I did enjoy the sausages and they were nice and meaty ones so I guess I jsut went a bit Atkins over the weekend. It was really hard to resist the hot buttered toast and the pastries!!

Thanks everyone. It probably helped with the others stopping at Burger King on the way and Little Chef on the way back - there was no way I was eating at either of those! When we go at Xmas we are staying at FIL, not a hotel so it will only be the chocolate I have to resist as I will do the cooking!

i didnt get there my love - was too bad on the roads for me. ordered me stuff online! oh i dont like insects - do fancy a lizard of some type but couldnt cope feeding it. i want a veggie chameleon that i can play with when im drunk.

If you're drunk you won't mind feeding it insects! A guy in the queue in front of me the other week had some live wormy things and I asked him what they were for - he kept African Pygmy hedgehogs - I googled them and they look very sweet.
