we have one of those bacon things, I don't use it any more. To get it crisp takes longer than on the grill.

Same here, also my microwave is a bit crap so the bacon goes hard and cardboardy in places.

I've never successfully toasted an oopsie either, but I'm a bit of a kitchen dunce all round...

Put an oopsie in the foreman to warm or toast one side then flip it over, put your filling in, place one on top and grill like a panini.

yay, cooked 3 pieces of bacon for 3 mins and 10 seconds in a 850 watt microwave. was perfect
