If you can't do a class then the Boots WI is the next best thing and should still keep you focussed
 
I go to a 7.15pm class. I prefer to get OH and kids' dinner out the way. Then when WI and Image Therapy is over, I got to the kebab shop or Chinese for my weekly treat! I think if I had weigh in any earlier, my treats would be a whole lot worse :D

i know what you mean, but i hate having to go to class when i could be spending time with OH...even if it is watching tv!

going to a 5pm class is bad enough, as i wouldn't get home until 7pm. i've gone to 7pm class in the past and really don't fancy making a night of it each week.
 
Shucks bout the class, give it a whirl weighing in at boots, it works for some, claire goes it alone doesnt she and shes done so well. If it were me Id have to attend the 7 o'clock one as I need the class but am fortunate enough to be able to attend a 5.30 each week. xxx

how come you dont get home til so late, cos its far away or cos you stay? x

I know what you mean. I like the 2hrs away from the house. It's my time and something for me. But then I have got 3 kids and my OH spends most of his evening doing my head in (she says affectionately of course!) If you think you will be ok going it alone and weighing in every Sat then you should be fine. I know if I didnt got for weigh in, I would be bad at least 3 times a week!

ah i see. im lucky, my class is 2 mins walk away, i dont stay, so Im home 10 mins after ive left the house x
 
the mental health nurse at work thinks it has something to do with our job. everyone at work gets comfy with blankets, PJ's or whatever as soon as they're through the door! she thinks it's something to do with nurturing ourselves after dealing with everyone elses crap. so anything that involves me being dragged away from cuddling up in the evening tends to pee me off :D

wellllllllllllll i've managed to get through 2 days of sticking to plan :D ...it's looking promising!

...and i've even made my breakfast, mid morning snack and lunch for tommorrow. wooohoooo!!!
 
Well done, take it one day at a time. You are so organised. I'm starting fresh tomorow so it will be my day 1. Keep it up x
 
making food the day before is very unlike me - i'm so disorganised normally. but i popped downstairs at 9pm to eat leftover pasta from dinner and decided i may as well chuck a pasta'n'sauce in the microwave so i can eat it cold for lunch and have made a couple of rolls up for the morning. i need to do a big SW shop soon :)

i've gained over the past few weeks and i know if i carry on at this rate i will be back to my starting weight and waddling around again....so the plan is to be good until xmas and lose what i have gained, then have a few days off (maybe a week!)...then back on plan BIG TIME for the new year.
 
good luck for tommorrow - make sure you have an idea what you're having to eat for the day and make it before you get hungry so you won't cheat ;) ....i scoffed half a jar of baby gherkins when i was making my dinner earlier as i was starving.
 
arghhhhhhh it's gone t**s up again! been at training tues, weds and today. got home from work yesterday after being good all day and OH insists we order an indian....so i gave in and went along with it and ended up with a huge dinner followed by a couple of mince pies! ....slept in today and didn't have time to organize my lunch and ended up hanging out by the vending machine! ...and i've eaten crap at home.

i officially SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
 
Aww hun, give OH a slap for the indian!!

You can get back on track, just sit down for 5 mins and plan your bum off. xxx
 
You don't suck, Karen. We all give in to the odd take away and when you haven't had time to plan properly it can be very difficult to find the right foods. It was only one day so don't beat yourself up about it
 
Dont be too hard on yourself. Life throws these things at us and let's face it, Flexisyn days are there to help us in these situations. Just make sure those cr*p 2 occassions don't turn into a week of cr*p days and you should be fine x
 
my oh has bought a double choc cheescake,and guess what ive just eaten some,so we all give into temptation,but we all hope for a better day 2morow..dont be so hard on yourself hun...xx
