I love that soya milk light unsweetened from the fridge part not the long life part ... It's drinkable on its own and I had it today ... Great alternative option...

Yes that's what I have, the fresh from the fridge. I can drink it neat but it's nice to make a little milkshake. Trying banana later.
 
Also why is it so coooold. Come on may take pity on us poor anaemics. I spent all winter blue skinned and dreaming of summer, not chilly blustery hail!

Wednesday weigh in: 3lbs lost wooooo

That's a full stone gone in my first month on Atkins. V pleased. 16lbs total lost. TOTM should be coming up soon so we'll see how that goes - would like to see what I can lose pre: Jubilee weekend as I'll be taking a couple of days off then.

Haven't cheated. Just had that one bit of a (horrible) Atkins bar. Haven't had any wraps or mim type things yet as haven't needed them (though have been tempted but am worried they'll stall). Have had diet fizzy drinks. Have had lots of sweetener in tea and milk (aspartame). Have been eating roughly 1300-1400 cals, some days lower some a little higher.

Will try and keep going in roughly the same manner as long as poss!

(3 more lbs and I'll weigh less than iron man)

Wow well done ML! That is great loss! Wonder if I could introduce banana flavoured Alpro milkshakes into my diet! Which flavouring do you use? Xx
 
I got the flavorings from preema on eBay - bought banana, chocolate, butterscotch and lemon, and have vanilla and almond from the local supermarket. I don't use much so it's not the strongest taste in the world but it really is a nice little treat to me and helps me get down the amount of soya milk I've been asked to. No nutrition label but the ingredients don't list and sweeteners or sugar and they don't seem to be giving me any problems.

Probably be worth a try for flavoring plain yogurt for those that eat that, or maybe mims etc. I'm going to try choc essence in my next Swiss roll.

I'm sure I won't get regular 3lb losses! But it was one pound last week so it evens out to 2lb a week - something I can (try to) remember in slower weeks ;)
 
It'll happen for you, love - two steps forwards, one step back sometimes - but it's all going in the right direction :)
 
Was thinking about getting crispy duck as a treat today but had some pork about to go out of date. It wasn't that nice but now I no longer fancy the duck. Good thing? Prooobably I suppose.

Today:

4 slices salt beef

Pork belly and green salad x 2

Mug of alpro

MFP says 18g carbs Inc meds.

More veg tomorrow!

I am not brill right now. Not sure what's going on but last time I had steak I threw up afterwards. I thought it was because I was trying a new kind that was a bit too sinewy for me.

Had fillet steak tonight - different steak, purchased at a different time - and have thrown up 3 times so far. It's really painful.

Why on earth would I be reacting to steak? It's usually at least a weekly staple.

I guess I'll stay off it for a few weeks and see what happens. Feel rough as anything right now.
 
Is it just steak?? Can you keep everything else down? Careful about dehydration !! Xxx
 
It's just steak - twice now with an hour after eating steal I've been sick, last time was about a week ago, but no probs in between and I ate loads of pork yesterday. Really weird.
