I've decided to do a diary to help me keep on track. As the title suggests I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. I'd been calorie counting before my pregnancy which completely went out the window the minute I found out :( Ive been trying to do sw the last few weeks, but I tend to end up only doing a couple of days before indulging telling myself I can worry about my weight after the baby. At my last appointment with the midwife my bmi came out as just over 30 which means I now fall into high risk which is all a bit scary! So I'm doing sw from now on to minimise the gain, eat healthier and look after baby and I.

Today hadn't got off to the best start, I had a banana muffin along with toast for brekkie, but I'm writing off my syns on that! I will be doing ee, although will be having the extra hex and I can see myself struggling with the 1/3 superfree as I've gone fussy about veggies, but will be making sure I get my five a day. I'm currently making myself a brunch of eggs beans and bacon, and tea will be a cous cous salad. I've also got plenty of fruit to snack on in work (Working evenings this week).

On my scales this morning I've come in at 11st2 which I'm quite pleased with given how Ive eaten recently and that all my waistbands seem to have less room already. I'm hoping I can keep the gain over the next few months to under 13 stone. Wish me luck!
 
Today has gone well. Did 40 mins at the gym this morning on the bike and walking. I have been frustrated at the gym recently with not being able to do as much as I did before! But just getting on with something while Im there now!

Brekkie - egg and bacon on 2 slices ww wholemeal bread heb milk in decaf tea hea
Lunch - muller rice 11 syns banana chicken mug shot four wholemeal craker bread heb and four laughing cow light hea
Snack - banana apple pear 2 syns for my sugar in tea in work
Tea - pasta salad

Today hasnt been too bad, I know its not 100% with my super free etc right now but I feel so much better for making progress in eating healthier exercising and getting my five a day x
 
Well so far today has not been on plan at all today. I've been off work today without any real plans of anything to do and have been really tired so I've spent the day chilling out at home picking at bits all day :( I've not been bothered to get out to the gym either. Am still finding it so difficult to motivate myself right now :(
 
So, I am now well and truely back into SW. for the last few months I haven't been following any sort of healthy eating plan at all! I've been having what I can when I can, sometimes not eating much and others having lots of sweets, crisps, chocolate and takeaways! I had been feeling a bit rubbish for a few weeks - constantly run down and tired - which initially I just put down to my pregnancy, but then thought what I was eating might not be helping.

So for about the last week I have been back eating in a sw kind of way and am feeling better in myself. I haven't been 100% but am making progress so am pleased. I'm thinking coming back on this diary might help give me a little push to stick to plan for a little while by writing everything down.

Last time I weighed myself I was just under 12 stone which I'm happy with at the moment. I'm 20 weeks this weekend, so I'm hoping I can limit my weight gain to 13 stone by the time baby arrives. I'm actually really enjoying eating healthy at the moment, it is a refreshing change to be eating this way for something other than to lose weight, and I'm feeling positive this will be a good opportunity to teach me to eat better for the future. I'm also feeling positive about shifting the weight once baby is here.

Good start to today, had planned on a green day, but have been out all day and OH has suggested pizza for tea cos neither of us can't be bothered cooking. Plus he's bought some krispy kreme donuts for after. On one hand I do feel bad about going over syns, on the other I have been healthier than usual this week, so won't beat myself up over a saturday night off plan.

Its been a busy one today, did a long walk with the OH in the morning, then went to the shops ad bank before going round to see my family this afternoon. Was so nice to see my lovely little nephew! We've just got home now and I'm looking forwards to a night relaxing with a dvd.

Food is as follows

Tea with splash of milk and sweetner

Tea - cheese and tomato chicago town pizza

Pleased I got all my hex in, but disappointed no fruit or veg. Looking forwards to an onplan day tomorrow!

Just about to go out for another big walk, clocked up about 3.5 half miles yesterday and hoping for the same today. After a funny few months I feel like I'm starting to feel normal again, that I can do what I used to do etc. I do still get tired tho, I was in bed early last night after a busy day!

I'm really pleased with myself that I have had a day on plan today and I've actually found it really easy! This is the first time in my life I have chosen to eat healthy for it's own sake, so I can be healthy for me and baby, instead of doing it to lose weight. It's making such a refreshing change, and suddenly seems so much more simple when not worrying about a weigh in every week!

Today has been a lovely day. Hubby and I went out for a walk this morning before the shops opened and it was so nice to see the city quiet and all autumy. We had a walk round the shops before visiting his folks. Then we've come home and made tea. I think tonight we will get out for another little walk before relaxing with a dvd. My weekends aren't very exciting these days since becoming pregnant! I can't go out drinking and am trying to save money, so it mainly is getting out for walks and sitting in with the telly for me right now!!
 
Urgh! Not happy this morning! I had planned on a nice lie in cos I'm working late. But instead I was awake at 6am with cramp in my legs, not happy! So I've already done my little jobs around the house and now have loads of time to kill before work! Oh well might as well sit with my feet up! Lol!

Had a tasty breakfast 2 quorn sausages, scrambled eggs and baked beans, also had an apple and a shape yogurt. I was planning on a green day before I realised I've made chicken salad for my dinner tonight, whoops!

I weighed myself this morning and was 11st 10, that's about 8 pounds on in two months and about a stone on at most in 20 weeks. I'm not massively concerned about the numbers on the scales at the moment, I'm just happy to be eating healthier and feeling so much better for it. I'm pleased I'm taking steps now that will make it easier to shift the chub once baby comes.

I had such a nice wknd off my with fella this wknd. We don't get many off together and it was nice to relax with him without doing loads of baby planning type stuff! Although we did have lots of chats about baby too. I am starting to worry about what life will be like with baby and how I will cope, but it was good to talk to OH about it and find he feels the same too. I'm sure we will both muddle through just fine!

Just realised I forgot ny highlights chocolate from yesterday, so that's another 2 syns to add on! Doh!

Plan for today is

Dinner - pasta with pepper lettuce cucumber tomatoes, Melon and grape fruit salad

Yesterday didn't quite go to plan! Ended up having a mars bar and a scone on top of what I'd planned taking me over my syns! Whoops! Not worrying too much about it cos I had plenty of veg, hex etc.

I'm blaming it on a stressful night in work. I'm currently training someone at work before I go on maternity and last night it got a bit much with them asking me questions every two minutes when I was busy with other stuff! I do feel bad cos its not their fault, I'd rather they asked than did the wrong, but when I still have work to do it gets tough!

I'm off today but feel like I can' be bothered doing anything. I only have one day off and I feel like by the time I have a lie in and get my jobs done round the house, my day has gone!! So I just feel like what's the point in getting out to do much! Tomorrow is my 20 week scan so I'm also feeling a bit anxious about that. Just hoping it all goes ok!

Thanks! I'm doing my best! At the moment, my main concern is trying to healthy as and when I can. Haven't been particularly on plan the last few days tho!!
 
Soooooo, I haven't been on in a while! And it shows cos I have eaten everything and anything recently!

I'm back on sw 100% now after having a bit of a shock. I was having to get a diabetes test anyway cos of my bmi being high risk. However my last two samples have tested positive for glucose too which is a symptom of diabetes! This has frightened me! When I found out I was in tears! I have two weeks to wait until the test but I want to act now for the health of baby and me. I've stocked the kitchen with SW essentials, all the sweets and junk have been binned! I just feel bad it has taken me most of this pregnancy to have had this wake up call! I feel bad I haven't been healthier. I'm not bothered in the slightest about my weight, I just want to be healthy!

Yesterday I was soooo hungry after doing a red day! I think maybe it was a bit too much of a carb withdrawl for me, and I'll be sticking to EE for a little while, till I get used to healthy eating again. I do still struggle with my superfree at breakfast tho.

Not updated my food for a few days although I'm pleased to say it's still going well. I'm still sticking to EE although I'm not always having my one third superfree with every meal. Compared to how I had been eating before this week has been a massive improvement. I've had no chocolate or crisps or takeaways or other processed junk! It's all been healthy good food! I've been using my syns on extra hex portions or things like mayo and sauces as I need them. I already feel like I have more energy (which is amazing considering I'm 28 weeks preggers!), and I just feel better in myself. It's just a shame it's not been under better circumstances I decided to eat better! I'm just hoping that doing this for the next 12 weeks or so until baby comes gives me the encouragement to stick with healthy eating afterwards.
