That sounds really nice!! I'm not allowed garlic at home as my dad hates the stuff, but cooked with it last night and loved it!!!

Just sat in mcdonalds and showing great self restraint: my son wanted a happy meal so I'm sat watching him whilst eating a fruit bag!! Gonna nip to m&s and get some sushi soon I think!!! Starving!!!

I don't have the ryvita if I'm honest but the book says the shreddies and ryvita make one heb. I'm not a big fan of them :) the honey shreddies are lovely tho :)
 
If you like pancakes...for breakfast I had syn free pancakes and they were delicious. I got the recipe from this site so if you do a search, you will find them. I had mine with bananas and yoghurt but you can have them with any fresh fruit topping. Makes a change if you are bored of cereal. x
 
Oooh. That's a great idea!! Might try them next weekend!! Was going to try and bake a sponge cake, buy I accidentally ate the quark filling!!! Haha!! Will buy another tub tomorrow!!

They were sooo nice. I was expecting them to taste exactly like omelettes but they were so much sweeter.
 
The things we do for our kids, eh!? Was very difficult not stealing a bite of burger or some chips!! Bless my little one - he kept offering me chips that he'd dipped in BBQ sauce, and couldn't understand why i wouldn't eat it. And then stole the last of my apple and grapes - hahaha!!!

Day 6

Breakfast: 28g Cranberry Wheats (B) with Skimmed milk (part a)

Snack: Sainsbury's Fruit Medley (Grapes, Melon, Strawberry's and Pineapple)

Lunch: Batchelors Savoury Rice, Beef flavour. Onken Fat free Strawberry yogurt.

Snack: 2 x nutella cakes (2)

Dinner: Smoked haddock, potatoes, tomatoes, sweetcorn

Liquids: Water (lots), Coffee (part a)

Syns: 2 (!!!!!!!!!!!!)


Had zumba tonight and really thought it might kill me!!! Wasn't so much that it was a tougher routine or workout, just think missing a few classes really makes a difference!! Great fun tho!! Still no sign of Jillians DVD, but patience is a virtue!!

Really need to stop having such late nights.....stupid Internet, always distracting me with my favourite tv shows!!

I'm quite surprised today that I only had 2 syns...I'm normally pick in the evenings, but didn't today. I think it's because I bit my tongue earlier (as odd as it sounds, it's a strange habit I've had since I was young!)

I had intended to try making a sw Victoria sponge, but by the time my friend had left after zumba it was gone 9 and I just wanted to relax!!!

As promised before, I've had a think about what I can do to get/keep active.
My exercise goals are now:
*Half hour a day on wii fit
*20 mins a day Jillian Michaels
*Zumba twice a week (Mon & Thurs)
*Swimming once a week (at weekend)
*Walking at every opportunity in between!!

I think they're reasonable goals, although with a full time job, a 3yr old and living at my parents; it may not always be feasible!! Even if I only get 2 or 3 off the list it'll be more than I do now!! So long as I get my bronze body magic award soon I'll be happy!!!

I'm yet to update my sig as i lost, then gained, then lost etc etc, so started again last week!!!!
Can't wait to have a loss and get my first sticker (as daft as that is!) But it's a step in the right direction!!

Just had to post in the syns forum - had a little sushi snack pack from sainsbury's, but can't work out the syn values, and it doesn't have a weight so can't work it out on SW calculator!! So have no idea how many syns i've had! *sigh* Never mind!!!

Fingers crossed Jillian should have arrived on my doorstep this morning!!! Wooh! xxx

Ok, i have a confession:

I am getting thoroughly SICK of fruit!!!
Have been having packs of strawberry and melon etc at work, and am really unimpressed by it now. Struggling to eat it, and getting bored!! Might chuck some yogurt on it, see if that helps? Or maybe some quark? Eurgh!! Uninspired today, but wanted more SS foods this week!

Still: will persevere.

Day 8 (WI at 7pm!!)

Breakfast: 28g Cranberry Wheats (B) with Skimmed Milk (Part A)

Snack: Fruit

Lunch: Pasta and sauce thingy (1.5 + part a), Salad with "Be good to yourself" balsamic dressing (1 tbsp 0.5) Cherry activia yogurt

Snack: Lemon hi fi (6)

Dinner: Beef stir fry

Liquids: Coffee, Water, Squash

I had those spicy thai balls again for dinner (and will again in a mo for lunch - that will be them done then and I will have to think about cooking something else then!).

Yes, things can get very boring very quickly.

I largely eat the same each day:

Breakfast - 42 g All Bran (HeB1) + Banana + Semi Milk (HeA)
Snack - Apple
Lunch - Large Salad + free red day recipe
Snack - Mullerlight
Snack - Alpen light (0.5 HeB2)
Dinner - Large plate veg + free red day recipe (try to make it different from lunch!)
Evening snacks - Alpen light (0.5 HeB2), fruit, Dark choc (syns), another mullerlight and other syns

TBH I like the security of it during the day. I can now miss out the morning fruit snack - maybe you simply don't need it anymore? Are you hungry then?
 
No, it's not that i need it hon, though i am usually peckish!! i could have more yogurt instead i guess, but know fruit helps with the SS thing!! Oh well, i can say i tried!!
Will stick to a banana a day instead!!! I also like the security/routine normally. Just an off day today i guess!!!

Just about to do a Crosse & Blackwell, Pasta & Sauce (Chicken & Mushroom) and according to syns online it's 1.5 Syns if made up as directed. Can that be possible though, when it tells you to make it up with milk and butter? Doesn't sound right to me!! Going to go get a huge salad to go with it i think!!! YUM!!

Still yet to make those balls, but they sound fab!! My dad's away fishing this week so can make all the food i want, and gorge on garlic, herbs, spices and everything i'm not usually allowed!!! Hahahahaha!!!!
