Hey all :D
I'm Wendy, mummy to two young kids. Soon to be married in April 2012 eek lol.
My weight loss journey so far is 3 years ago I was overweight after having my eldest child so I joined my local Slimming World group and lost 2 stone :) Just has I was on road to my target I became pregnant again lol. However I rejoined after my youngest and lost a stone :)
I am now nearly at my ideal weight but has Im trying to save pennies have decided to restart slimming world at home.
I just want to make sure I'm eating fine on my plan as Ive been told syn values have changed since I last attended the groups :)
Please comment if anything looks wrong or if you have any good recipes, please share hehe.

Week1 - Day 1

Breakfast - fruit salad (banana & peach) with fat free Onken yoghurt

Dinner - 2 thick pork sausages (11 syns)
Mash (milk allowance from HEX A)
Mixed Vegetables
Gravy 200ml (around 3 syns)

Tea - Ham sandwich on brown bread (HEX B)
Extra light mayo (half syn)

Snacks - WW yoghurt (1 syn)

Total syns - 15.5 syns ooops lol.

Thanks :) My wedding day is definately spurring me on so fingers cross I lose it lol.
 
Sat with my daughter having breakfast so thought I'd write what Ive eaten this morning before all chaos breaks lose lol.

Week 1 Day 2
Breakfast
Banana
Peach
Onken Fat free Strawberry Yoghurt

Plus cup of tea to start the day lol (milk from HEXA allowance)

Well all was well till teatime and had to nip out with a friend so was not in till late so had a takeaway for tea :(

the rest of today is as follows

Dinner
Beans on toast with 2 fried eggs (fried in frylight)
orange

Tea
Cheese & pepperoni 1/2lb burger with fries
3 slices BBQ chicken pizza.

Total syns ??????? (think i lost my chance of losing ought today lol)

Hey all :)
Well today my plan went outta window although it wasn't unhealthy just I aint eaten much :(
It all started last night when I climbed in bed but couldn't sleep has it was too warm. I eventually dropped off but only to be awoke by my son who was coughing so all in all Ive had 3hrs sleep.
This is what Ive eaten today -

Week1 Day3
Breakfast - Banana & pear with Onken fat free strawberry yoghurt

Was then very naughty and missed out dinner altogether :(

Tea bolognese pasta bake with 2 garlic slices & handful of wedges.
Slice of bakewell cake

Really hope I get more sleep tonight or I will end up seriously ill :(

You sound like your doing great! All you can do when u get off track is to try again... I'm trying to get rid of baby weight to !

Well after a better nights sleep then precious nights I woke up feel better equipped to get on with my diet :) Was going to have my usual fruit salad with fat free yoghurt for breakfast but fancied a change :)
So today so far I have had

Breakfast - 2 slices of toast (wholemeal) HEXB with 2 teaspoons of chocolate spread (3 syns)

Dinner - Slim a soup (3 syns)
WW yoghurt

Tea - Chicken korma (12 syns)
Brown rice

Total syns - 18 syns :(

Lets hope all the walking about makes up for the 3 extra syns lol.

Hey all :D
Day 5 and feel great - really energised :) Have got two nights out over weekend so I hope I can stay within my syns and on track.
My plan of action for tomorrow is have tea before I go out then count my drinks as syns. Does any1 know how many syns are in 25ml of vodka - think its 2.5 :) I'll probably drink one vodka & coke then a coke then another vodka & coke so I don't go over my syns :)
Saturday is a girls night in with a takeaway later so think it will be a low syn chinese or indian such as dansak or chicken in oyster sauce with boiled rice :) Alcohol wise Im gonna look out for a low calorie wine hehe.
Well today as been 100% day for me yay!!!
So heres what I have eaten today

Week 1 Day 5

Breakfast - 2 slices of toast (HEXB) with 2 teaspoons chocolate spread (3 syns)

Dinner - 3 egg omelette with ham (1 syn used for vegetable oil)

Tea - 2 Beef Steaks, SW chips, Fried mushrooms & tomatoes with 2 tablespoons extra light mayo (1 syn)
All cooked with fry light :)

My favourite meal today was definately my tea hehe :) My overall syn total is 5 syns but may have a low calorie hot choc before bed so will take it to 7 syns in total :D
Also included is milk used in my cuppas throughout tea although does anyone find if they use milk as a HEXA that they dont use all the 250ml. I only use my whole allowance on a sunday when I add milk to the potatoes to make them creamier :)

Today has been another good day so I'm quietly confident I've lost at least a 1lb which is better than ought :) All will be revealed 2moro morning when I wake up :)
Today Ive eaten

Breakfast - Porridge (HEXB) 1 teaspoon chocolate spread (1.5 syns)

Dinner - Jacket Potato with Chilli Con Carne & salad (not sure how many syns as I had it from Morrisons Cafe)

Tea - Mackerel & cottage cheese with salad


The menu stated the jacket potato with chilli con carne was 530 calories but that would make it 26 syns which sounds silly. Obviously the kidney beans, mince & herbs would be free but not sure how they make so I could add up the total syns :( If anyone knows please let me know :)
 
Just realised I wrote my food diary as week 1 when it was actually week 2 lol. So Im now on week 3 lol sorry to confuse everyone as well as myself lol
 
1lb loss this week :) Will spur me on to be 100% next week :)

So after confusing myself what week Im on (its ok I started back on plan a week before I started my food diary lol), I think I know where I am lol.

Pleased to say weigh in was today and I've lost a 1lb which I expected has Ive had a few slip ups this week :rolleyes:
But I'm determined even though I'm out tonight that I will be 100% next week hehe :D

So today I have had

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (HEXB) with milk (HEXA) and sliced banana on top

Dinner - Cottage cheese & ham with pasta & a jacket spud plus a small side salad.

Tea - 2 fried eggs (using frylight)with baked beans & SW chips

Am having a girls nights in at a friends tonight so will use my 15 syns on alcohol lol. :D
Thats 6 vodka & cokes for me lol

Night in with the girls & still was 100% yay!!!

Not very often Im pleased with myself but today I am hehe
Yesterday I had a girls night in with the lasses and throughly enjoyed myself. I usually say to myself before a night out that I will stick to X number of drinks within my syns but usually fail lol. Well I can say for the first time in a long time I have actually stuck to my syns YAY!!!!:D:D
I had 4 vodka & cokes and although I looked daft doing so I measured 25ml each time lol. So all in all I used 10 syns yesterday which is greaaaaaaaaaaat :family2:
 
Got busy yesterday cleaning clutter in kitchen then had my friend round later so didn't get chance to update my diary yesterday. So here goes this is what I ate yesterday :)

Week 3 Day 2

Breakfast - 2 slices of toast (HEXB) with 2 teaspoons of chocolate spread (3 syns)

Dinner - Chicken, Mashed potatoes (used milk allowance), Sweetcorn, Brocolli, Peas, & carrots.
4 roast potatoes (homemade with frylight)
1 Yorkshire pudding (3 syns)
200ml Gravy (3 syns)

Tea - Ham & mushroom omelette with baked beans

Had a vodka & coke too which was 2.5 syns hehe.

Total syns - 11.5 :D
 
Week 3 Day 3 EE Plan - messed up @ dinner :(

Keep forgetting to update my diary the same day so here I am again in the morning writing it whilst kids eat they cereals lol:D

Heres what I ate yesterday

Week 3 Day 3

Breakfast - Porridge (HEXB + 180ml milk allowance) with 1 teaspoon chocolate spread (1.5 syn)

Dinner - Pork & stuffing sandwich with apple sauce (worked it out at 19.5 syns BIG OOPSie)

Tea - mushroom & ham omelette with baked beans

Total - 21 syns :mad:

Did walk about 2 miles so hopefully that made up for the extra syns :confused: Only weigh in on saturday will tell :(

Had another great day on the plan & only used 3.5 syns which I would bump up to 5 but since I went over by 6 syns yesterday, I'm not gonna bother which is a big shame lol.
So here goes - this is what I've had today

Week 3 Day 4

Breakfast - Weetaix (HEXB) with Milk (HEXA) & sliced banana on it.

Dinner - Mackerel with baked beans & 1tbsp extra light mayonaise (0.5 syns)

Tea - Chilli con Carne (1 syn) with brown rice & celery chips

Drinks - 2 teas (milk from HEXA)
Hot chocolate (2 syns)

Total - 3.5 syns :D

Wet & windy day @ National coal mining museum Wakefield.

Decided to take kids to National Coal Mining Museum today which we all found really interesting :)
Have also had a great day food wise and stayed on plan :D

Today I had

Breakfast - Porridge (HEXB & HEXA allowance) with 1 teaspoon chocolate spread (1.5 syns)

Dinner - Jacket potato with baked beans ( do not buy food from NCM its not much food for the price lol. I'd take your own pack up and eat in the indoor/outdoor picnic area :D)

Tea - Chinese :D Chicken in oyster sauce (4.5 syns), boiled rice. Mince meat & lettuce leaves for starter :)

total = 6 syns :D

Week 3 Day 6

Breakfast - 2 Boiled Duck eggs with 2 slices of toast (HEXB)

Skipped dinner unintentionally :(

Tea - 2 fishcakes (5 syns), SW chips, mushy peas & 2 tbsp extra light mayo (1 syn)

HEXA - Milk in tea :)

Total - 6 syns :D
 
No point weighing in 2moro

I truly hate myself at moment :(
Have stayed 100% most of week except 2 days where I went about 6 syns over but guess what the day b4 weigh in (today) I go and have a takeaway :(
I just can't help myself, I work really hard only to sabotage my hard work.
I feel like crying :( I know Im not that overweight anymore and most people say I look great the size I am but it maddens me I cant lose this extra 12lbs because Im lacking self control in last bit of my weight loss journey.
I have said to my partner Im gonna start my dvd workout as of tomorrow but I just hope I dont fall at the next hurdle next week.
Sorry to rant and sound depressing but I'd go mad if I didn't share my thoughts :(
 
Keep your chin up and remember tomorrow is another day, draw a line under it, get your DVD out and get sweaty... you'll feel better in no time :)
