My 1st week of cd

Ey all I'm lea and on day 2 of my 1st week x I have loads to lose which I find a bit scary as it all seems so far away but I'm promising not to cheat To take each day at a time and not weigh myself in-between weigh in days which is Sunday by the way x I love this site as it gives me loads of inspiration and something to do when food is on my mind x anyhow if anyone reads this good luck with your journey and hope to see less of u soon x
 
I have done 48hours now and finally on day 3 tomoz and not working nights so at least it's easier x can't wait for this week to be over I can't say I'm hungry more missing eating suppose its a habit but the thought of weight loss spurs me on
 
Well day three in the bag x I haven't left the house so it's been fine and easy x roll on day 4 x I was naughty and jumped on the scales slap my hand and I have lost so maybe that's y it's been so easy xc night all and roll on day 4

I lost 10lbs week one done x
 
Hi. Im starting cd tomorrow and am nervous. Any tips on getting through the first week? Ps well done on the 10 lbs!
 
Hi demonp x and thank u roll on week 2 for me x seriously just drink loads of water don't over do things x the first 4 to 5 days are hard but I promise come the end of the week it gets better so stay focused and don't give in x shakes with ice in a blender are nice and a pack makes 2 hot chocs for an evening treat x that's what's got me through it x if u feel cold and fed up at anytime treat yourself with a mag or a long bubbly soak in a bath but whatever you do do not give in and you will be smiling come your first weigh in x good luck sugar with it hope it goes well x please say hi from time to time and let me know how you get on x tc lea x
 
Thanks Lea. Top tips there-especially the hot chocolate-will need that with this weather! Im just going to grit my teeth and get stuck in. Good luck with your 2nd week. Will let you know how i get on with week 1! X

I don't know how anyone survives nights-i couldn't do it! Do you have a very active job? At least you get to enjoy this lovely weather in the day!!! ;) about to go and make my first shake. . .really hope it tastes ok otherwise the next few months will be a nightmare!x
 
I'm a nurse so active ? Depends on the night I suppose x how did your first shake go x I have one of them shaker cups which I find fab as I gip if mine have lumps x

Being a nurse must be active so i guess tiring. . .but think of all the calories you are burning! First shake was surprisingly nice. I use a hand blender to avoid the dreaded lumps. Looking forward to going back to work tomorrow to keep my mind busy. X
 
It's odd because I'm really fat and I read posts on here about ppl who have painful joints can't run get tired easy but even fat I don't get any of that x it's funny as me and my mum were talking about this the other day and we think it's because I'm too stubborn to let it stand in my way so push through it x don't get me wrong I think losing weight will defo make it easier and I'm not saying I'm fit or anything but we were just saying how surprising it is I just go for it x I mostly struggle with activity just because I think about what others think of me x we went swimming on Sunday and the whole time it was freaking me out that I was half dressed and everyone could see me that they were thinking loads of radic things about my awful body but I still do it for my kids as I'm not letting my weight stop me playing and enjoying my children even if it emotionally scars me x
 
That's so like me! I hate the whole torture of the swimming cossie but try to get over it for the kids. Still wouldn't go if i thought anyone i knew would be there! I have 4 stone to lose and did use to get bad back pain but then started doing lots of exercise and pilates and it has really helped. Again, the kids are the motivation. Drinking my last shake of the day and so far so good!

10lbs in one week is amazing, u must have worked really hard to achieve your weight loss. I've been reading some of your tips on here too like long baths etc to avoid temptation and I plan on putting them all into action, ha. I have 2 stone to lose and I was hoping to do most of that in 6 weeks as I have a holiday booked, but any weight lost is s bonus. U have just inspired me and I hope I have a successful start to spare me on like u have had. Keep up the good work!!!! Xx
