ProPoints My challenge to lose 10st in 15 months.

I'm a hider too, sometimes I think "screw it, I'm an adult - I have my own house, I should be able to eat what I like, when I like" but it doesn't work in reality, I was so excited about moving out so I could do what I wanted, but I realize if that were true I'd be the size of a house by now and even though we're a couple I still get weirded out that Steve knows how much I eat, I like the mystery - I clearly wake up looking perfectly prepped, eat nothing and don't fart!

I worry so much about giving my kids my food issues, but I think every parent gets that about one issue or another!

There's so much you can mess up on as a parent it's scary but there is no real right or wrong you just have to do your best. So far so good with my boy, I'd like him to be more confident in himself but he's so wonderfully kind, empathetic, intelligent and funny I must have got some things right and yes I'm taking all the credit cos clearly he's just like me hahahaha xx

Oh he sounds lovely, I think you've mentioned before but how old is he? He'll come into his own with confidence I'm sure!

He will be 14 in January. He's a lovely kid I know I'm biased but I get told it a lot by other people. It's an awkward age and I'm sure in a few years I'd be wishing he would shut up or come in when I told him to but he's total sweetheart. Think it's done him and his future gf's some good being raised by a single mum because he's put his washing in the machine from a young age, can cook stuff in the oven, makes cups of tea and always puts his stuff in the dishwasher. He looks after his mam bless him and even when we moved in with Dai there wasn't the usual fuss you get from most kids about having to share their mums time with not only another man but another child too. He's the best thing I've ever done, can you tell I'm a proud mum? lol xx

Oh he sounds wonderful, bless. Yes can tell just a bit, but if he's all brilliant as you say he is nobody can blame you! And lucky future girlfriend, I wish Steve's Mum had trained him as well! :p

Scarletttttttt :)

I just wanted to check in my lovely!

Sorry I have been MIA (there is a big ramble on my thread that kind of explains!)

How have you been sweetie? Attacked your cowbag of a consultant yet?

Much love x x

I'm good honey just replied to your thread :)

Weigh in for me tonight and if I lose and she's snide I might just give her a clip round the earhole lol xx

Good luck for tonight! xxx

Thanks hun!

Can't believe I'm on 100% day 8 and still going strong. No class again tonight but at least I have the excuse of parents evening. Just had a text from horse features saying there's a big incentive tonight but I won't be around to hear it. I won't win anything with her anyway so no huge loss to me.

Breakfast - Dairylea light on toast (11pp) Milk and sugar (4pp)

Lunch - Ham salad sarnie (12pp) French fries (2pp) and a pear

Dinner - Undecided because I always eat after weight in but have parents evening tonight too and won't feel like cooking at 7 o clock. Thinking of doing the bacon and sweetcorn chowder recipe this afternoon so I can just re heat a bowl tonight and have a ww petits pain or some bread and butter with it when I get in.

Ohh good luck at parents evening! I bet you'll be smiling. :)

Dinner sounds like it will be yum. :) Maybe pack a WW friendly snack in your bag for after WI so you don't feel too hungry? I know I would be starving lol. :D

I'm used to the hunger on Wednesdays. I quite often have lunch around 12-12.30 and don't eat until 5-6ish but on a Wednesday when I know I can't eat until 6.30 it's like my life is ending. I get so grumpy when I'm hungry and parents evening is for the step daughter so it's all going to be about how good she is in school and we now what a stroppy little madam she is at home. I'm scared that I'll be so hungry I won't be able to stop from biting my tongue literally lol xx

Ooh the dreaded parents evening! Did you tell Horsey you weren't going to be there?Where are you weighing in, at home?

Probably best to prep something before, do you have a slow cooker?

Nope need to get around to buying one ready for all my soups come winter time though. I haven't told her I won't be staying to class but I'll go and weigh there as usual and leave. She's used to me doing that now but might text her and mention I won't be staying and find out the incentive just in case I have a chance of winning xx

Ah, sorry misread, though you weren't going at all! I'm so excited for your WI tonight! I've got my proud face on all ready for you! God I need some on plan weeks!

I'm not too excited because I know the last time I was this good I only lost 1lb so I'm saving my happy face until after I've weighed just in case. Praying for another 3lb but will be happy with any loss at all!

You're not doing too shabby Em definitely way more good than bad so you should be happy when you get on the scales too xx

I'll have my fingers and toes crossed for you, though isn't that odd? We can be naughty and lose a good amount and sometimes a 100% week means a small loss, I wonder why that is?!

I just need to get exercising again I think, then my head will be in it!

I'm starved today, it must be lunchtime surely?!

My best loss ever dieting was after a weekend away to butlins. I lost 10.5lb after drinking my weight in vodka and eating McDonald's and Pizza Hut. It doesn't make sense but I'm hoping that I'll be happy on the scales later.

I was like that yesterday but yep it's after 12, time for din dins xx

I'm so with you on that one petal. As well as cake and vodka of course just to make it a balanced diet ;P
