ProPoints My challenge to lose 10st in 15 months.

It's Monday again :(

Had a lovely weekend which started Friday afternoon with a very old friend who I haven't seen in years. Was a lovely, lovely afternoon and seeing my old mukka Richard put a smile on my face all weekend. Don't want it to be Monday so up yours work lol

I've been rubbish at posting lately so I'm going to make sure I post all week until I go away.

Breakfast - Scrambled egg on toast (15pp) " cups of tea (4pp)

Lunch - Ham salad sarnie (12pp)

Dinner - Very possibly pasta bake but need to point the sauce first

Hope everyone is doing well? xx

I'm sharing the Monday feeling! Why are weekends so short? So glad you had a lovely weekend and your food sounds lovely as always! :)

I know right? They fly by way too quickly and this week is going to drag because I'm going away Friday. On the plus side I got my lil mans main crimbo pressie ordered so even though i'm 100's of £'s lighter in the pocket his beloved ps4 will be under the tree and that makes me happy xx

Oh bet he'll be chuffed with that! :D

It's the only thing he's asked for because he knows how expensive they are. Bless him at 13 he's got a great grasp on the value of things and never expects me to spend loads on him. There won't be much under the tree which makes me feel awful even though I've spent a fortune but he won't complain at all. I'm so lucky with Josh he's a cracking kid and not spoilt at all. Ooh that reminds me I've started buying Christmas goodies every week with the food shopping and I haven't dipped into anything yet. Normally I would have had to replace a selection box or tub of pringles by now haha xx

He sounds like such a great kid, and I'm sure you know it's not the amount of presents that matter, he'll be pleased as punch with the PS4 and not even notice anything else!! Oh that's an achievement, I've been like a human hoover this weekend, I'm actually contemplating a healthy Halloween as it's affected me so much!

I went in the cupboard where I'm stashing it all earlier and thought ooh that pile is building nicely and did have a bit of a moment thinking that normally it would be half that size because I would have dipped into it.

He will be over the moon Christmas morning it's just me. When I was little me and my sister would get up to a room full of presents and don't get me wrong my parents were far from loaded but they always saved and made sure we had a fantastic Christmas so I want him to have the same. I was a single mum for 10 years of Josh's life but I've made sure he had what I had when I was young, a warm loving house, clean clothes, food in the cupboards and I made time to play with him. Kids have all the gadgets these days but nothing beats a board game or two on a rainy Sunday afternoon. As a parent you always worry whether you're doing enough but when I see the young man he's growing into I must have got something right xx

You definitely did it right! Some parents shower their kids with all the latest tech, most of them just want time with their parents and a stable home. I totally agree too, half the fun of my childhood were board games on rainy days, and puzzles! Simple things are often the things they remember the most.

I had a computer and things when I was young but I was going through old photos the other day and there were a few in our old house and I was smiling thinking of all the fun I used to have with my mam ornaments of all things. Memories are what matter and even though he's got a room full of gadgets that looks like a smaller version of Curry's there is a stack of board games in the living room, and he pretends to be embarrassed by me knowing all the words to the songs from Bear In The Big Blue House. You can tell he loves it really althogh maybe not so much when I'm singing the Tweenies theme song in Sainsburys and trying to get him to join in haha xx

Surely he realises that's what you're there for? Half the joy of being a parent is embarrassing your children in fun and amusing ways!

He loves it really, who would want boring parents? xx

Yep and mine. My whole family is a bit barking though to be fair but I wouldn't change it at all. I pay my bills, cook the tea and get him to school on time. If I want to wind him up by talking like Doodles the dog while I'm buying toilet roll I think I'm allowed! haha xx

That might just be the greatest sentence I've ever heard in my life!

I aim to please lol My ex brother in law refused to come into supermarkets with me. He was no fun! xx

Well what a day so far. Half term and have hardly seen the kids but I've got plenty of work done. All good apart from one very annoying customer with a right cheek. He's not feeling the Lisa love anymore. Been busy in the kitchen too and there's a lovely stew cooking as requested by the mr.

Breakfast - Scrambled egg on toast (15pp) 2 cups of tea (4pp)

Lunch - 2 x Tiger bread rolls with ham (14pp)

Dinner - Lovely big bowl of stew which I need to point per portion but not a lot in it that's bad as it's mainly stock, carrots, sprouts, cabbage (0pp) some potatoes and lamb

Ooh what did he do?! I'd totally forgotten it was half term, lucky children, can I have a half term now?

I'm not supposed to list BS stuff on ebay but I do now and again if I haven't got a party booked in. Well he wanted to order one of these calendars and send it to his gf in sweden. I've answered emails from him at gone 11 at night since Thursday last week, answered emails on my weekend off, given him a discount and free shipping to Sweden mind you which isn't cheap and he's moaned today (after making me send him three paypal invoices because he kept changing his mind about the other things he wanted to send her) that it hadn't been shipped. He's asked me for a refund because he's "paid extra and it's not even sent yet" so I've politely told him that if he wants to pay for shipping himself, not get a discount or the free samples he had the nerve to ask for then he can always nip to the body shop himself and arrange a courier for his parcel. I hate people!!

No half term for me either and it sucks. I want 6 weeks in the summer and Christmas off and I'll happily give up half term and inset days lol xx

Cheeky A**, how have you left it?! I HATE people on EBay with a passion, my friend brought an "Unlocked" Iphone 2 years back and it wasn't unlocked, he was so argumentative, basically called her all sorts of names and moaned at her for being a woman so "she wouldn't have to work for the money anyway" when she asked for a refund!

I'd settle for Christmas Eve off!! :p

Me - You were aware that I was placing an order for it Saturday, it has been discussed and in all fairness I was ready to put the order in for you Thursday in which case it would be on it's way to Sweden by now. I can't cancel the order now it's on it's way to me I have to wait until it gets here. Then I have to wait until it's returned before it would be refunded but if that is what you would like to do I will happily send it back when it gets here

Him - Yes but I've really rushed to do it on Saturday because I was thinking you'd have it posted by Monday morning! I've paid with the wrong card and it's all been a nightmare! I've hardly got Any discount so it's been a disaster really! Jenny needed the calender for her aunts birthday on Thursday and that's why I thought I'd get it direct from you to her!

My last message to him (gutted I forgot to say that knowing i was ordering it on saturday evening how the feck was it going to get to me on monday morning?) I'm sorry you're disappointed Lee but even if it had been shipped yesterday
there was no guarantee it would have gotten all the way to Sweden by
Thursday. Items need to clear customs and that isn't always an instant
process. If you had told me there was a 4 working day limit on when things
were needed I would have advised you that I couldn't get them there that
quickly. You did know I had to order them to be shipped to me first as we
discussed me placing the order once you had paid the invoice and on the
subject of your card that really isn't my fault.

I've given you as much discount as I can and am losing money on the order so
to be honest it's very cheeky that you're complaining. You've asked me to
knock the price down, send free samples (which cost me to buy and add to the
weight and therefore cost of the shipping which I am paying not you) and all
this at sometimes 11 o clock at night. I think I was trying to offer a
shoddy service I wouldn't have been answering your emails so quickly.

Given all those points and your obvious disappointment I think the best
thing to do is send back your items when they get here and I will refund you
in full.

Think that makes my point to the snot nosed ginger idiot? xx
