My Diary

Really not having a good time at the moment, hoovering out the cupboards with my mouth, stuff I don't even like. Need to find my motivation again!!

Oh honey come on you can do this! Easter Challenge is underway & you don't wanna give yourself more to lose than you started off beginning as your target.... Are you trying having a glass of water first x

You know you can do it. Just fill your cupboards with as much fat free food so if you Hoover - it's safe :) be strong.

Oh God, me too. The other day I ate three cereal bars, a roast lamb sandwich, 3 biscuits and some chocolate all in one go. I really was like a pacman going through the cupboards. And then I had my tea after that
My motivation HAS to come back by the end of this weekend, because at the moment I'm gaining 1lb a day! :(

Come on KB - we can do this!! No more new years resolutions to lose weight, because this year we're going to get there.

Thank you, ladies. Still not good here but have set Monday as a restart, kids are back to school then so it should be easier to get my exercise in and so on. Yes Alex, lets get this job DONE!

OK a proper restart in the morning, I have to stop all this effing about. Big shop tomorrow and I'll have loads in to keep me on the straight and narrow. Wish me luck!

just reading your diary kitty bling and i think your doing fantastically well. well done for resisting the pizza! your doing so well x

OK so it's day one back in the zone and I'm trying really hard to get my head back in the right place. I have done well so far today and, shock of all shocks, I actually had breakfast this morning! Normally I can't stomach anything (anything healthy anyway) but this morning I forced down a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes with semi skimmed milk (we were all out of skimmed, have loads now since shop was done.) Then I did my big shop so I have plenty of healthy stuff to choose from. I had a yoghurt and an apple mid morning and lunch was a wholemeal pitta with ham and salad. I treated myself at the weekend to a couple of M&S meals so will have one of those tonight. Also NO ALCOHOL for me until Friday evening. Not that I have that much but it is empty calories that I can do without.
On the exercise front I have walked No 2 son and the dog to school and then I walked home, probably just over a mile, I'll do the same again this afternoon and that will probably be it for today, I'll try to fit some extra in tomorrow.

Sounds like a great start. I'm not big on breakfast either but I need to eat something otherwise I feel sick which is why I normally have the protein shake . It easy to drink and fills me so I don't have to worry about eating something crap

Hi KB - good to see you back in the zone and fully prepared!
It's always easier when you've got the right things to eat in the house, isn't it?
Here's to a great week ahead for us both!
Which day are you weighing on nowadays? I'm a Sunday weigher these days, as that's the only day I more or less definitely spend with The Man.

Thank you, ladies. Alex, weigh in for me is Friday, not sure why, just fits well with everything. Smallest son gets weighed on Fridays too and it has to be charted (by me) so my weigh in reminds me to do his. He has the opposite problem though, not enough weight on him! He's such a healthy, happy wee soul that I genuinely would forget to weigh him and his dietician and consultant would have a fit.
The rest of the day has gone well for me, walk to and from school again as planned, I had an M&S "Fuller Longer" meal this evening, pork loin, mash and cabbage and it was nice but not as gorgeous as I had thought it would be. I followed that with a WW carrot cake slice. Or 2. Hmmm. Anyway, on we go, hope tomorrow is also a good day, I need to get a few good ones under my belt.

A good day today, my usual 2 mile school run (or brisk walk anyway) and a good food day too so all well. Easier today than yesterday so hope I'm getting back in to the swing. Hoping for a good loss this week to kick start me again. No alcohol since Sunday either!

Another reasonably good day although no extra exercise apart from my school run. Having said that I've been running about from here to there for the past few days so that's bound to count for something. I made a huge pot of potato/leek and cabbage soup today and had it for lunch which was delicious, there's plenty left for tomorrow too. I had the M&S fuller longer chicken/leek.angel hair pie for dinner. A bit disappointing to be honest, wouldn't get it again and the angel hair went everywhere. Still no alcohol (3 whole nights now!) so that is good too. Roll on Friday for a large vodka!

2 pounds off today and I'm pleased enough about that but would have liked more (wouldn't we all??) I'm feeling a little bunged up so that could be the issue, was also TOTM this week so I was picking at sweet stuff at times which didn't help.
First drink of the week tonight, really enjoying it too! Large vodka and Pepsi Max. Some M&S low fat crisps too cos it's Friday. Cheers!

Now that really would be worth it. A friend of mine joined weight watchers and on the first night asked the leader if she could lose all the weight in one week and then just pay by direct debit for the rest of her life! I wish...

Not a good weekend I'm afraid although it could have been worse. Weekends are a real downfall for me! Back to it today and I had a really good day. Lots of exercise cleaning the house as we have a viewing tomorrow and my usual school run. I think exercise has to be my way forward because I love food too much to deprive myself too much. If I can keep the exercise levels up that will also keep the feel good factor up and help all round.
