Well - i do recommend the Isle of Wight as supposed to be warmer than the rest of uk and nice to have a little ferry to feel like you are getting away. Having said which, the summer was pretty chilly - but then so was the rest of uk!

Actually a caravan isn't a bad idea.
I have been to the Isle of Wight before for Cowes week. It is a lovely island.

We are on hols next week but just planning a couple of days out, would have liked to go camping but looking at this weather - fat chance!!!!

Good morning all.
I am going to look at some caravans at the weekend. Thanks for that idea Vicky. I don't know why I didn't think of it. It makes perfect sense with the dogs. Yes, you can all come on hols with me and the dogs. Lol.
A bit blowy here today but not too bad. Some work to do in the garden clearing up after the winds of yesterday.

nearly all of my family have dogs....and caravans.....works perfectly for them, and they have complete freedom. hope you find a really nice one xx

Singing in a Madonna styleeee 'Holidaayaay' A lot of the holiday sites have static vans to rent and the prices will go down now that the schools have gone back. We used Haven sites before we had our own tourer.

Not anymore, sold it when we split up but we had 3 of them over the years. With a son who has ADHD there was no way we could holiday in hotels lol.
