Jus to let u kno I researched it and make sure you do low intensity cardio only, when in ketosis ( so very gentle Jog or fast walk) - high intensity workouts cause the body to break down muscle as ketones are not sufficient when the muscles need to be fed quickly. When it's low intensity ketones are sufficient. I dunno why Cambridge don't just tell people the reasoning behind it rather than randomly telling people to avoid strenuous activity at the start. Anyway sounds like u listened to ur body anyway but jus thought I'd pass on what I learnt! X

Thanks so much :). I remember reading that if you normally do high intensity stuff it should be ok to continue...just maybe not as much! Tho yes I am good at listening to my body...esp if it means cutting back exercise! Haha. Will stick to the light jogs I think, maybe some swimming!

If needed have an extra shake as they r lower carb or even a chicken slice or handful of broccoli. I been having 3 packs n a bar and skimmed milk in tea and a handful of broccoli and still in ketosis x
 
I dunno if I'm weird but I like the cottage pie the most as it is a thicker consistency so feels like food! And the spag Bol is fine too!! I hope u like em too as they help in this weather....

How u feeling today?

I'm constantly tired and very thirsty although drink all day!! But when the scales r going down and clothes fit again its worth it for sure!
 
Glad your feeling good :) the ketosis affects us all differently I guess- I partly think of it like an interesting experiment to see how ketosis will affect me as each week goes by - keeps me wanting to stay here!

I've got a referall to a sleep unit as I use to fall asleep in the day all the time (at work and in the car even) and after sleeping loads. As soon as hit ketosis it hasn't happened. So interesting my brain must be running differently. Now I just feel tired but not suddenly falling asleep like I used to. Am embaressed to tell consultant I'm on this diet as I bet he won't agree with it but need to say that it's stopped the problem it seems!

Anyway I think I'm trying to distract myself on my break - enjoy your "lunch" hehe xxx the fat is melting away as we type!
 
Haha vanilla shake it is I'm guessing! Jus had a banana bar (I bulk bought 53 of the for 50p each!) but still by lunch time it tastes good to me compared to just water!

Getting my hair done at 3 as reward :) highlights and a cut

We are the only people in the way of breaking through that barrier - so really there's no reason why we can't keep going - mind over matter! X
 
Very true! I find each time I diet I get a bit lighter each time. I seem to diet, maintain, gain a bit, lose a bit gain a bit, diet, maintain etc etc. I'm lucky in that I seem to have that trigger where I know its time to get back on plan. This time it was a dress I tried on that was too tight (from a shop I usually find to be generous with their sizes)...was just about to ask for a bigger size when I realised thats how the slippery slope begins. Time to do something! I might go back see if the dres fits yet :)

That's really good im going to remember that way of thinking and not accept going up a size ever!!! You are better in the sense that you realise - lately I fell into denial and gained gained gained having the last binge until tomorrow and tomorrow jus took months n months to come! This time weighing 11stone jus shook me so much I had to snap out of it and it really hit me this time that the yoyo has to stop cos it's made my body look gross n cellulitey! Never used to hav that!
 
And what's minx toes?

Minx is the toe nail wraps that come in loadsa funky designs :)

Tell me about cellulite :). Despite earlier being a size 8 and months of running, squats, crunches, body brushing, cellulite creams it has never improved :(. It does get me down as I'll never feel I can wear shorts w bare legs or a bikini. Ahh well.

Bought some tesco bars today, not as nice as the bl bars so hopefully won't crave them as much :)

Hair turned out not bad - makes a change!

O dear that's not good to hear the cellulite never goes! I'm so mad at myself for gaining and losing the way I did as its like I created it! Cellulite is like a life long punishment! Oh well slim n fit wit a bit of cellulite is still a better option haha!
