My last weight loss journey

I am starting today on my weight loss journey and I hope its my last :eek: I am a comfort eater and whenever my life has a wobble I put on weight so I am going up and down all my life I now know that I need to think differently in order to stop this :confused: I lost 3st last year and I was so happy my job was perfect !! and so was my home life then just after xmas I suffered a loss that sent me into the comfort eating/drinking zone again grrrrr:mad: why do I do that?? so I weighed in this morning and I am waiting for my Asda shop to get started, oh and I have put 2 stone back on much to my relief so at least I did not put it all back on :D

WELL TODAY HAS BEEN A FUNNY DAY , i HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM HOLIDAY SO NO FOOD IN THE HOUSE UNTIL 3 ALL i COULD FIND WAS EGGS, POTATOES, AND LONG LIFE MILK!! SO HERE IS MY DAY SO FAR.........

I am not really a snacky person and would usually have 3 meals a day but it has been a strange day , I am so tired today so going to skip exercise for early night and start on my treadmill tomorrow,not had any syns either
:confused: do I have to have them?? .I have done a big order today from joe's sausages yummy !! I have also ordered some marinated pork from them . feedback welcome xx oh forgot to say I am following extra easy xx

All excited got my joe's sausages order being delivered today!! I have to use up my ww sausages first tho .I really must get on the treadmill today I will check in later and let you know how I get on xx
 
Morning, your food diary for yesterday sounds yummy, I am also following extra easy not done this one before it was only red and green when i tried SW ages ago, I have mainly done WW in the past but i hate having to count points all the time. I am enjoying extra easy so far so just hope it works for me. I think for your syns you can have aprox 10 per day or 70 in the wk, the class i went to ages ago said it dose not matter how you use them so you might not have had any yesterday but you could save them for another day. ( but I could be wrong on this) but thats what i am doing so i will let you know if it works on Sat ha ha. xxx
 
My diet for today EE
Breakfast
Activia snack pot 0% fat (I really struggle with breakfast )
Bucket of tea with milk HE
Lunch
2 x ww Bread with 2x poached eggs HE (no spread )

Dinner
Sausage casserole made with ww sausages and syn free gravy ( 2 syns as I was a piggy and had 4 sausages )

sweetcorn/peas/carrots/runner beans
Snacks
2xActivia snack pots 0%
1x pineapple stick (yummy)
1x Melon portion
Exercise
30 mins on the treadmill

Hi, I've been a SW member for two years, got to target March last year having lost 2st12 and then regained a stone (still going to class) due to not having a proper kitchen for months and the inevitable Xmas gain. Have been struggling to get back on track but think I'm getting there slowly.

Your food diaries so far look great, the only thing our consultant would add is to drink a glass of water with every meal. It seems to help me.

Breakfast is always a hot topic but I think that you should always do what is right for you and if it works then carry on. It's when the losses are not forthcoming you need to try a change ?

I'm sure you will succeed, you seem determined to do so, and hopefully I will be right behind you. Good luck, Caroline x

Thanks for your advice it is very much welcome, I do struggle with water but drink diluting juice and tea (black coffee if I am out ) This site is a life line when looking for meals hints and tips. congrats on your loss I am sure you will soon be back to where you were xx
 
I must admit that's where I go wrong not drinking enough water, I tend to drink diet pop and tea. Sausage casserole sounds lovely, how do you make syn free gravy?? Is this with oxo cubes? I am going to try making cottage pie today SW style, I could only get lean mince not extra lean but it says 2 syns per 100g so not 2 bad, just hope it tastes nice. I will let u know, if I am not on later it's because I have poisoned us all. Ha ha. Xxx

for my syn free gravy
I fry a large onion add oxo cubes depending on what flavor you want your gravy add water and anything else you fancy I add garlic,pepper and a splash of soya sauce I then leave it to simmer for a while until the onion is very soft, you can leave the onion in or blend it or sieve it!! put it back in the pan bring back to a simmer and add mr mash to thicken it . It is very yummy and you can play around with it to make it any flavor you want xx

I cant believe I have not had a glass of wine for 4 days
:D I thought I might of got the shakes by now lol. It sort of feels wrong to feel so full while on a diet :confused::confused: only the scales will tell on Monday if I am doing it right. So here is my food diary for today.

Ha ha are u a wino like me lol, I have not had any for over a week now, I am the same as you I feel like I am eating loads, I will be amazed if I have lost weight with all the food I have been eating, my weigh in at home is sat morning so I will update u , hopefully it will be good news. X

Hi Mugshots are a pasta or noodle snack you can make in a mug with hot water, perfect to take to work if your busy, I stick to the 1% fat ones as they are free on EE still finding out about the other flavors but they are very very tasty and will stop you falling off the wagon. I cant wait for weigh day I have not cheated once so we will see!!! good luck to you hun xxxx
 
I have mugshots regularly and keep a few in my drawer at work. Like you said they're good when you need something tasty and stop you raiding the vending machine :))). Sweet and sour noodles are particularly nice Cx

Hi only 1 more sleep for weigh day for u, keeping everything crossed for u but u have been so good all week I am sure u will see a good result tomorrow, I will keep a eye out for your post, I am going to get some of them mug shots tomorrow to keep in the cupboard they sound great for when I am in a rush, and sweet and sour noodles sound yum thanks. X
