Ok guys! i did it! the first day of the c25k...... and i must admit it was great wasnt difficult was just nice and mellow, im not unfit so i think that helped but i hate running so im hoping this changes my mind about it xx

You can't like everything sweets!!!

But i honestly detested it before i started it!!!

Now i love it!!!

x

yeah i know hun but there is no reason for me not to like it and i did enjoy it this morning so i think ive just been telling myself i didnt like running.... we will soon see as i aint giving up whether i hate it or not now! i dont give up at anything haha! xx

Peachy ... you'll do amazingly as EVER! I am even enjoying running now...dress weather appropriate and go at YOUR pace is my only advice :)

I'm loving it ...even when its cold its actually rather nice getting out at night...can't run during the day atm as I don't feel confident enough for that. But I'm getting there ...although have just got back from a daytime run ...FAR away from my house ...round a park where no one knows me ~lol~ x x x

OOh all this running - you're brilliant. Well done. Can't quite face that yet. Swimmming and going for long walks with my doggie!

Hey hun glad you're back been missing you! Yeah I am liking the running I'm wrapping up warm and I'm managing a lot better than I expected to but I think dropping five and a half stone might have something to do with that haha... I'm not unfit by any means so it's nice just to get into something other than swimming..... Oooohhhh bet you are exited about Friday hun! Xx

Hey hun, yeah surprised myself with the running! I swim 5 times a week at least a mile (65lengths) each time and I do that in 30 min so that is the big one for me... But I've just started the running and yoga and I'm loving them xx

Ooohhh I admire you peachy and Dee and Tru for starting the running up... I`m sticking to my 5 mins on the elliptical strider lol... (its all i can manage!!) and will defo be going swimming this week too... I am soooo unfit its unreal, I may have mentioned before but I have painful feet so running is out ot the q for me. I really hated doing cross country at school so i know I wont enjoy running, but each to their own...:D I`ll get there with the swimming I think... No I KNOW!!! lol xxxx

I have seen a differance in energy levels and generally feeling able to do more... but not running I think i`m still too heavy for it not to impact my joints and cripple me for a fortnight or more lol.... dodgy feet.... not too mention I`m almost 45 and led a sedentary lifestyle for years to think it might well be a bit too much for my old bod! LOL xxxx
