My slim and save wedding weight loss diary - From 242lbs to 185lbs for my big day!

Thought I'd jot down exactly how I am feeling so I can re-read this if I ever feel like cheating again...

Right now, feeling so full, quite sick, a little dizzy. Tummy hurts still. I have drank 3 glasses of water within the last 30mins, just want to get as much down as I can!
 
Morning all!

Have tummy ache this morning, bloated to the point where people will ask 'Awww, whens it due?'... Overall, cheat meal, not worth it! Also a lovely 1lb gain on the scales this week, so that will be some water there from the meal, no way it an be fat, I have 3 days to flush it out and stick 100%. Also TOTM is overdue a little, expecting that any day now!

Expect to STS as last week, this meal combined with TOTM will mess with my weigh in, but hope that if I can stick solid for this next 10days I will lose the lbs needed to get me out of the 200s!

Awww well you'll be out of those 200's soon Tara. As the gain will disappear as fast as it went on.

Just keep focused and keep going your doing amazing and you can do it.

All that bloating and feeling crap should easy through the day as you have your packs.

Drank 4 glasses of water so far and just had lemon bar for breakfast as it will keep me nice and full for a good while! Heres to the next 10 days flying by, and hopefully a loss of 5lbs too! Come on 100s! I'm coming for ya! xx

I'm drinking lots of water I've had a dizzy spell today but I feel ok and more energy than last week yay :)

I'm sticking to this diet come what may lol ha ha
 
Good for you. Just need to stay focused and remind ourselves of the weight we can lose by doing this 100%. I am feeling ok now, quite hungry but trying to wait until 1ish to have my second pack. Will prob have oatmeal, may try and end the day by having a hot shake and a chicken soup rather than the mealpacks. x
 
Just having the cinnamon cookie for lunch, with another two glasses of water. I've had around 1.5 ltrs today already. TOTM is playing havoc at the min tho!

I fully expected to feel very sick and very dizzy whilst getting back into ketosis if my meal threw me out yesterday which it must have! But I've had two packs now and I am feeling ok, bit of a headache but I've had one all week! Will test for ketosis later tonight. Hope to weigh tomorrow morning and be lighter! Though I do gain a fair amount around TOTM, week 3 only lost 2lbs because of TOTM so now expecting much! x
 
Once that water weight goes you'll be a lot lighter and once in ketosis it's so much better just gotta ride the storm hun

Well I'm finally feeling more energetic today felt dizzy but feeling good. Plus passed an assessment at college today. The sun is out its a beautiful sunny day here at the sea side :).

Really feeling good decided to order diet chef. I've got 2 weeks coming so that I can go from this (when I'm at target) to diet chef then slowly over time up the calories do that I'm maintaining. As that's the big thing for me I don't want to have to do this again.

Keep yourself busy Tara time goes by faster, I'm cleaning daughters carpet tonight do that will pass the time it's a huge bedroom to wash lol.

Yeah keeping busy is the best way, sounds awful to wish your life away but it is nice when the time passes quickly and you've made it through another day!

Congrats on the assessment! Yeah maintenence is a big issue, I am going to switch back over to slimming world on the run up to the wedding and honeymoon but I do intend to enjoy the honeymoon and have what I want, when I want. Re-assess when I come back and might come back onto s&s to lose a few more pounds. Will just see how it goes! x
 
Just thought I would update all my measurements to keep me on track:

Starting:

Bust 47
Waist 39.5
Hips 51

Now

Bust 44 -3 inches
Waist 34 -5.5 inches
Hips 45.5 -5.5 inches

S&S works, not just dropping the lbs but also the inches. :)

Yes I think this losing weight on this is easy you have the packs drink the water lose the weight. Maintaining that new weight is another matter.

If you do slimming world you go for free once at target do that will help with every day life as we all have events to go to.

As I like to go out clubbing maybe 1 or 2 times a month I'm gonna alternate it so I drink one time drive the next. Plus I'll only let myself drink if I've been under my calorie allowance all week and have pounds in credit so to speak.

I think we need structure for maintaining and I'm gonna be really hard on myself.

But over time we will all re educate out selfs and hopefully staying the same will become habit :)
 
Yeah it will become like second nature. I think I will use slimming world once at target, then adopt the good through the week, treat at weekend approach. x
 
Yes that's kind of what I'm going to do.

Bf already said oh Monday's can be our meal out day lol. I can see him wanting to spoil me I really can so when I have these meal out I'm choosing lighter options chicken or fish and salad and veg.

So we can work around these things.

Just need to get to target I'm on day 60 of 100% with 90 days to go :)
 
You've done so well! 60 days at 100% is some feat! And starting mid 15s to now approaching 12 territory! I can't wait to leave the 14s now. Hope to be out of them fairly soon! x
 
It's lovely going into a new stone bracket. I'm excited each time. Won't take you long Tara to get into those 14 and back out the otherside into the 13's. Gotta love vlcd diet so effective and fast lol :)
 
I am 14st 9 at last weigh in, today 14st 10, weigh in is saturday, I would love to be around 14st 7 by then but not banking on it this week. Really do want to be 14st 3 by my bday though, that would be a goodbye to the 200s for good!! x
 
Oh and by the way, I didn't really enjoy the meal if I am honest! I am even starting to think I don't really want my bday meal now! I got no pleasure from it what so ever! After 7 weeks of this diet almost, I can honestly say that I have had this slip up and never again will I. I know it's easy to say, but I know now that it just isn't worth it, so to anyone out there thinking they may give in to cravings or miss the taste of something, honestly, don't do it. I just feel full, a little sick, bloated, gassy and know I will have water weight to contend with, as well as getting myself back into ketosis and the feelings of elevated hunger for a few days. Bad Tara! haha

I need a butt kick, need to be kept on the straight and narrow! x

I know exactly what you mean, I've had a bad week and eaten various things and NOTHING tasted right! Nothing was enjoyable! I suffered horribly all day too. So not worth it! I'm having a meal this week, was going to go off-plan and have now decided to just stick to chicken and veg.
 
U Are doing so well Tara ESP with all u have going on. Fingers crossed u will be saying goodbye to the 200's really soon x

Good afternoon everyone, no work for 3 days yay!

I have only had my lemon bar today, no other packs yet, will have some oatmeal soon and se how I go. Must of drank around 3ltrs of water already, having massive cravings for sweet things, TOTM still to arrive! I am ignoring them though, going to tuck into a nice oatmeal cookie, but have no cinnamon, so will be a plain on, maybe a tiny bit of ginger.

I am back at the same weight I was on saturday weigh in, so happy with that, hope that by weigh in on sat I will be a couple of pounds down, wish i didn't have the Docs scales at work to hop on, I am 14st 5 on them! lol Wish I could use that as my weight! Instead of my evil digital ones! xx
 
Ok, So I am in ketosis now! woohoo.

I have 8 full 100% days until my bday trip, 2 off plan days. I have though about this and think I will still have the packs on the day of my bday meal, but will just have the even meal off plan, the next day we are having a carvery so will allow that and then back to 100% monday. I am still hoping I can drop the pounds needed to be out the 200s before my bday, really hope I can! I do need to make more effort to exercise though, I am not doing enough x
