Hello all you lovely peeps!

I signed on here September 2010 whilst doing Dukan. I went from weighing 105kgs in May 2010 down to 80kgs by October 2010 but didn't finish the 3rd and 4th phase of the diet. My hair became very thin and my husband said my mood wasn't always the best.

I picked up 15kgs from October 2010 until April 2012... grand scheme of things... 1kg per month...

Started Slimming World because I missed my fruit and was not enjoying the fact I had to CUT OUT food groups. Not been to weigh in for a few weeks as I've been on holiday and life got in the way/weigh... har har... :rolleyes: But got myself a White Board in the kitchen (small one) and I'm now doing Meal Plans for Dinner and writing all my Syns down on the board too..

Not climbed on scale in 3 weeks... should be hovering around 92kgs... will weigh in on Saturday at class in Badgers Farm... lets hope they wont crap on me for not coming to weigh in! :(

FOOD DIARY

Monday 11 June
Breakfast - 2 slices Wholewheat Toast with Marmite, Cup of coffee (splenda & ss milk)
Snack - Smoothie (ff nat yog, 6 blue berries, 6 raspberries, 4 strawberries, splenda & Soy milk (5syns)
Lunch - Prawn Salad (chilli & lime with Heinz Mayo Extra Light) (1.5syns)
Dinner - Bolognaise Sauce (mince with peppers, mushrooms, onions, carrots) over a 200g baked potato
Dessert - 10 fruit pastilles (5 syns)

Total Syns = 12

That smoothie sounds lovely! I actually know nothing about kilograms- how do they relate to stones/pounds? What did you have to eat on the Dukan diet? having your hair fall out sounds horrible! glad you're not on it any longer.

I think slimming world is really good because it's a sustainable, healthy diet and you still get to have the occasional treat :)

Did you syn the fruit in your smoothie? Don't forget once fruit is blended it becomes syns :)

Good luck with the weight loss, you are around the same weight as when i restarted :) (don't go off my weight loss as how well you'll do, i am very much a slow loser :p)
 
Well, it's been two weeks. Have dropped about 5lbs. Am very happy with my loss. I've found a website called "FatSecret.co.uk" and I track my food there. It gives you calories, which I know we don't count, but it's a good guide to see how many calories I actually eat.

@Ally... WHOOPS... didn't actually count my smoothie fruit as syns... but so far so good. I have my smoothies in the morning and they say that's when you should have your the bulk of your carbs/sugars.

Girls, thank you for the replies and the wishes! Don't get much feed back from anyone, so it's very much appreciated.

I'm stuck but came off the diet ... no excuse really... went back home to South Africa. Back on track today.... Goal posts shifted... :break_diet:
