New Biggest Loser UK Jan starts 10th 2011!!

You've got to admire O'Neal doing the push ups on the blocks. I think that he has a lot of mental strength to be able to push past the pain barrier.

I thought Koli did well, i mean he ate all those calories and then worked them off after.
 
I think now Koli's biggest problem is Sam; Koli is keeping Sam there for Koli, not Sam. He needs to be detached from Sam and do it on his own, Sam is there and just needs to focus on toning as he doesn't have much fat left to lose.

I like Ashleigh and Darus.
 
i dont mind any of them. i agree with welshgirl though about sam and koli. sometimes i think that couples work better when one of them is sent home. same as Sunshine and O'Neal, they would be better seperated.x
 
Daris, Mike & Ashley.

The rest are doing my napper in! Sam/Koli are more manipulative than Melissa ever was. She never once hid it to be fair!

Koli had the casting vote meaning Sam, O'Neal or Sunshine would stay - even if up against Daris, Mike or Ashley. That is so wrong. Damn it is only a tv show but I'm annoyed at it.

By the way, why on earth was O'Neal (sp?) not informed of his brother's worsening condition? - I find it very hard to believe he wasn't informed or even sent for - especially as Mike was granted leave when his grandmother was seriously ill.

Cynical in my old age?
 
I bawled my eyes out watching O'Neal grieving for his brother!! I thought it was rather too personal for the producers to be showing that so publically, but I suppose that's America for you and maybe not such a bad thing!!
 
Thats the problem with reality shows, they have a right to show everything. i mean look at the Big Brother in India when Jade was told live on air that she had Cancer.

I haven't heard anything, can't wait for it to start though.

I don't know who I want to leave each week now as I kind of like all of them who are left. I don't think Sam has much left to lose now though fat wise so he may be a risk as time goes on.
 
Something really struck me this week that made it clear to me just how fit some of them are getting, even if they still have lots of weight to lose.

I started running a few months ago and generally it takes me around 30 mins to run 5K, I went on a run earlier today, on a mostly flat route and really pushed myself and did it in just over 27 mins

Darus did it in 21!

Thats fast.
 
Can't believe there is a thread about Biggest Loser.....I love this show sooooo much. I've seen nearly all of them and spend most of the hour in either tears or gawping in admiration for them.

I love the contestants that just go for weight loss and don't really consider playing the game. I know it has to be done at times but I think it shows how much they really want to change.
Pleased with who went this week....not keen on one group having more sway than the others. I also think it's anyones game which isn't always the case.

Sorry to waffle but I am a total BL Geek

and Mike.....!!!! 17 lbs wasn't it??? wow.. "There's your double digits..." :)
but then again he did lose 34lbs the first week.. that's almost 2 1/2 stone in a WEEK!!!!
 
They certainly did!

I think Mike is great, in the beginning I thought he was going to struggle, but now he is so focused.

Daris to win though, I love the way he just gets on with it..... No game play just hard work.

They have already done atleast one more series than what is on tv now I think, I live it soo much-it keeps me going. The first series I got addicted to was the one with the two brothers in the grey team, one was called mark! And there was a guy with blonde hair called dan and the final 4 went to Vegas for a week or something! But that was phenomenal, and got me hooked! Think that was about 4 series ago. I don't bother watching the uk one as religiously cos whilst it's good, its not the same :)
 
Does anyone know if this show is repeated in the week? I was pretty gutted when found out it hadn't recorded this week. :-(
