I agree with WSM absolutely
I am a firm believer too much exercise on little calories is NOT better for you than gentle exercise. I have got to know my body very well on this, and when I upped my exercise my weight loss stalled. I lowered exercise and it picked up and continued great. I have kept an eye on many others and have found this to be the same for them. Those who do exercise tend to lose slower, and on weeks where they havnt done their exercise they have lost the most. Although exercise is of course great for health, firming, toning! But not on a VLCD where the body is already reduced to such low intake each day. It can cause the body to kind of panic, and hold onto what it's got, because so much is being burnt off and we need calories to do everything I will keep to gentle exercise of walking until I reach goal and increase my calories, then I will really go for it and work on health and fitness instead of weight xx
