Hi all

Im Fiona, Im new to the site. Im doing SW at home with my hubby as I can't afford the weekly group. So far he's lost two stone on the Extra Easy Plan but I've only lost 8lbs! Don't know why yet!

I thought I'd join the site to get support and tips from ladies who have been far more successful than me at losing weight :)

welcome fiona, im on my 2nd week and have lost 2.3llb my first week, whoohoo, and when i look at the portions im eating now and what im eating it's all too clear where i was going on, its really made me think about food:) but in a good way!

Hi there thats really good - I didn't lose a thing for the first 9 days!

i used to do a lot of fitness training and then i changed my job, upped my work hours, and dropped gym hours, but carried on eating, the maths isnt hard to work out and i put on two stone in a year!
it has already shown me how much i was over eating..even my milk portions in coffee were way over what they should be, no wonder i wasnt losing any weight, and putting it on
skimmed milk takes some getting used to though!
i still go to the gym and swimming but at weekends, my next goal is to fit a session or two in the week..after a 12 hour day? hehehe

Blimey Im lucky if I can summon the energy to go swimming once a week lol I used to do step aerobics at home every day but my knees gave up on me after 6 weeks. I've never been very 'exercisey' myself, I find it a major chore. I used to love dancing when I was younger so sometimes think about joining a class but I'm just not very motivated  Zumba was fun but I've had three kids and jumping around all over the place does my bladder no favours lmao. But I goto uni so I have to walk 20 mins in morning to the rail station so I do get some activity I suppose....

Hey hunnay I'm doing it from home too only just started again! Wishing you both the best of luck xxx

Hi everyone I'm new to this site and you could say newish to SW. I tried it about 8/9 years ago I've only ever been used to WW. Doing it on my own from home, again I can't afford the classes - well not at the moment anyway. Was my first WI yesterday and I'd lost 6lb totally amazed. Have to say I was bad last night and the night before but I'm back on the wagon now.

Good luck to all of you and well done on all your losses x
