Sorry to hear you haven't done as well as you'd hoped this week.
If you weren't making up for it in the week than it would probably be a lot worse, so I don't think your efforts are wasted. It would be a shame to not enjoy the chances to socialise over Christmas. Perhaps some speed days would help, if that works for you (personally found it no help at all). I am having a good week so far (naughty weigh-ins at home say so anyway
) but I think it's because I have had no alcohol this week and that's what does the damage for me (and the fact it makes me want to eat chocolate). Bit difficult for you to limit that though when you're busy socialising.
I hope you have a better week this week - but if not it will be a lot easier in January when everyone is staying home! Good luck.
